On behalf of the kittens, thank you for all the kind words. They feel obliged to agree that they are adorable.
Having massive problems with the empty house, electrics and gas all seem knackered. Costs are mounting and can't place tenant until everything is fixed so money is flowing out.
Still no SSP or DLA updates, bit worrying to be honest.
On the positive side surgery is getting closer which is good because I'm back drinking morphine again and that makes me feel dire.
Not a very upbeat post I'm afraid...haggis for lunch, there's a good thing :rotfl::rotfl::A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
*delurks*
So sorry to hear you're feeling poorly again.
Maybe hug a kitten or two to see if that will help.
Take care.0 -
Hi JAT, thanks for delurking, hope you'll stay with us now :j
Kittens cuddled to within an inch of their little lives (and the husky).

Surgery is a week on Monday.
I may be enough incentive for me to actually catch up with the paperwork.
The mad tenant who keeps accusing me of breaching her "Human Rights" wrote me another lovely letter in fetching red ink. My crime against humanity this time was making her sign her lease in 2011 "under duress". Half the letter was on the envelope again so the local posties get to know they've a criminal in their midst...I'm a magnet for insanity.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. I don't know how you keep smiling through all this. My one house with bad tenant after bad tenant is enough to drive me crazy nuts! I really take my hat off to you and admire the way you carry on with it all!! And one week!!! omg where has time gone! I remember you telling us how far away the date was and I was thinking....no that's ages away! Are you in the process of putting all houses/flats under letting agency for them to manage? I hope so be one weight off your shoulders ...let them have their 10% and deal with all the carp!MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06.
