Kittens have arrived.

They are two little black and white bundles of energy. The boy is Jago and the girl is Litefoot. SB is very pleased and currently emailing all and sundry with pictures of his babies. Husky introductions will take place tomorrow.

Handyman has been sweating up in loft all day getting one side completely floored so the other side can be insulated up to the hilt. He'll be back up there tomorrow.

Looks like vacant property may be let by the end of the month. I really really really need to get my @rse into gear and get the two non-payers out and court orders issued. I've also got one who's half-paying due to the changes in the benefit rules. He's the last on my list to sort as half is better than nowt.

Managed to drive again today, went to cat rescue, pet shop, M&S, chemists and had some lunch. Definitely getting my energy back little by little. All the washing will be up to date by the end of the weekend as well.

Agreed with district nurses last night that they would stop evening phone calls to see if I needed anti-sickness injection. I'll now phone them if I require it. So that's another step forward.

Big warning signs for heavy rain on the roads this afternoon which would be such a pity as it's glorious outside today.

I am going to bring you a cat toy next week as I bought one for the Elderly Cats here at Mooomin Towers and they sniffed it, pronounced it dull and continued chasing bits of paper around *sigh*

Thanks Moo. They seem to love the toys we got them which is unusual. Note it doesn't stop me buying toys. I never learn

They going mad here chasing each other round. Interested to see how long they can go until they conk out. We're at 1 1/2 hours so far which is impressive and if anything they're speeding up.

No idea how to post pics...I'll have a play around today.

More loft is going down as we speak and I'm going to attempt some baking later. I think I'm the exhausted one from watching kittens never mind chasing them.

Hickman line blocked yesterday so morning spend in hospital having it cleared. All done and home now to kittens, SB and piles of poop. How can things so cute be so smelly?

Need to organise some maintenance at vacant house, new cooker and safety checks. It's let from next Tuesday so hopefully some regular income even if it's missing a slice for their costs.

I need to find out what's happened to the two flats which haven't paid rent this year. No idea if they've been abandoned or the tenants are just hoping I've not noticed. Either way that's my big job for this week.
