Not this weekend sadly as Mama and Papa Moo are in town (gods help us all...) but I finish my temp job on Wednesday so am free all weekend next week before starting my new one if that's any use?

My lovely boss (well ex-boss if I'm being honest with myself) came round for lunch today. She'd made a fabulous salad and home-made lemon drizzle cake. It was so good to see her and get all the news...I so want to get better and get back to work, I miss the challenge and the structure. It would also mean that I'm getting better and kicking this into touch which is a good feeling.

Loving the kitten names...we'll ring first thing and go and collect them in the afternoon. It'll be lovely having two bundles of fur running around and I know that the Husky will thoroughly enjoy having two little ones to play with.

We're trying to set up grandad's Sky HD box here. The clock is ticking as we don't want to be half way through the job when he gets back. It's like a cat burglar being caught mid-snatch. Terrifying thought.

The Grandad upgrade was completed 90 seconds before he arrived back. SB was mightily relieved and has spent the rest of the afternoon upstairs calming his nerves with lemon cake.

Dinner is the gammon I cooked in Coke yesterday with mash and veggies. Never done it this way before so keen to see how it goes down.

Washing is reducing with twin pronged drier and airer approach. All I need are some labels and we'd have a fully fledged business here.

Moo, next weekend sounds great. Let me know what suits and we'll have a kitten-sess. Husky will need attention too or she'll get jealous and sulk.

I've promised SB we'll go to the IMAX to see Star Trek this weekend so that's something to look forward to. Things are pretty good at the moment...I'm enjoying being awake and free from the pump. Happy days. :D:D
