'Promotional' beef nearly got me banned.....Nevertheless after a stand-up public row another manager .........

Probably best to refer this to The Dude's reasoning of long game, not a sprint.

Public stand-up rows should be avoided at all costs, particularly where the item is as commonly mispriced as meat.

Try to avoid making a scene, avoid a fuss, be nice to everyone in store and at HO and if you get a knock back, take it on the chin and try again tomorrow.

Most of us have experienced the urge to call the CS lady with the removed SEL hidden in her hand a *!%^&*^ing %$^%$£^ little &*%%$ but it's best to hold your tounge and make them pay next time.

I almost got banned over a £5 book before going on to claim xboxes, ps2's, psp's, dvd recorders etc etc.

Best to walk away from confrontation, IMHO.

I was in a store today - noticed that someone had discarded a small pack of Birds Eye Beef in Gravy.

Took me right back - almost had a tear in my eye.

The good old days when the freezer was stocked with 50 packs of the stuff and the family groaning 'Not beef again tonight Dude!'

Ahh, those were the days - any other moving Tesco moments out there?

I was told today by cs that tesco are changing their policy and ending R&R at end of Jan.

Anyone else heard this or is it another store ploy to get out of it?

Is it possible to have a thread that is JUST the missed priced items and a seperate thread JUST for discussion? Its really hard to see any items in these mammoth threads

Apologies if this has been done already and if that's the case, can you make it obvious from the chat forums page where these are, as I can only find this one!

What a fantastic idea, also what about maybe having a search facility as well......................
