Tesco misprice discussion area part 17

Changed the price from what it scanned to what it was priced on the shelf I presume. I didn't follow them around to see what they had done - that's why they had the policy I presume. It hurt each store to R&R so they were encouraged to make corrections.
It wasn't a problem after I had reported it - and I got a free DVD so I was well chuffed. I didn't try to go around again or anything though - which is my point;)0 -

Well I'm being quoted by you, I'm so proud, what a way to top off a day full of greedy r&ring, it really couldn't get any better.
Night all.0 -
hmm, have I seen this face before somewhere recently... was it at a checkout maybe ... was it having all items rescanned for no other reason than maybe comedy value ... hmmm if only I could remember0

I think that's a little unkind, especially seeing as nobody has pointed out your inability to rationalise.;)cheapskate58 wrote:I think you have an inability to type:DFour guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

ben500 wrote:And all since just 11.35pm yesterday, clearly all you are concerned about is what YOU might lose out on, don't fret there will be plenty of bounty out there for you, Tesco have no intention of improving the situation or clearly the policy would not be changing, they just haven't considered that dtd may well prove just as big a problem that r&r has been in identifying their willful complacency with regard to price integrity.
Stop panicking there are other ways you can benefit from the inadequacies and sharp practices of the retail sector, if you need some ideas and are so desperate just pm me and I will be glad to help.
You would do well to think about how much better off you would be if you weren't getting overcharged each time you walk through a supermarket checkout and pay attention to your till receipt and the prices of the products you select.
Gawd you really miss the point don't you!
I ain't after "bounty" like some crappy consumer pirate. Neither am I some kind of cynical saddo that thinks every major retailer is out to rip off naive consumers.
I'm a regular money-saving type of consumer. Someone who wants a deal, a bargain but also recognises that there is a supply chain out there and ripping people off works both ways:p0 -

Last summer a friend of mine got a whole load of flyers printed basically saying something along the lines of "next time you shop please try and buy British". On three consecutive days she did a trip round asda sainsburys and tesco and put a flyer under all the car wipers, but on the second day she was spotted in the tesco carpark and was asked to leave which she did, but on day three she went back anyway. Unfortunately she was spotted in the carpark again and sadly security this time called the police, who had stern words and duly escorted her to the edge of the car park.
All she was doing was trying to promote British food, but Tesco weren't having any of it. Asda and Sainsburys either didnt notice or didnt care. I suggested that she contact the press as surely they could make a story out of such anti-British behaviour by Tesco. For some reason or other she didn't call them, although I still sometimes wonder what would of happened if she had.0 -
I enjoyed my free XBOX package, endless amounts of Christmas beer, dvds and free meat from Tesco.
I don't particularly care about the policy ending because I can't get to any stores now or in the forseeable future, plus I will save a hell of a lot of money on petrol!
Thanks for a great Christmas Mr T!
