Now who's being naive here? You didn't post to alert others so they could scam or you didn't post allowing the misleading pos to lure others into the same false impression you got when you saw it and thus resulting in them being overcharged? Do you honestly suppose those items remained on the shelves or were they picked up by unsespecting customers who then went on to get overcharged?

    !!!!!! are you on about?

I bought, got overcharged, complained, got a refund and was allowed to keep the goods. Tesco then went about rectifying the problem. Everyone is happy.

If a load of MSE'ers had descended on the store claiming R&Rs, whom would that have helped?

People filling their boots with the R&R "bargains" has stuffed it for everyone:mad:

Well rolling on the floor laughing may be an appropriate sentiment - or not:p

The prices will never be right 100% of the time - we live in reality, not utopia. Unfortunately, redress is now double the difference that you were overcharged rather than a refund and getting to keep the goods.

I ain't rolling on the floor laughing at that particular outcome:mad:

Ah! Now the penny drops, My apologies we seem to have different agenda's, I see your own "Greed level" is kicking in and you are concerned that you may miss out on r&r and lose the ability to "scam" {your choice of term not mine}Tesco once in a while.

As our agenda's appear to conflict I will stand down from this particular debate perhaps you can sit by and wait for the first bogof or dvd misprice that may even turn out to take you into the profit side of the transaction rather than merely a freebie, happy hunting.

Hm seem to remember someone using the words "toys and pram" in an earlier post funny how little things like that pop into your head at times like this.

Big time !!!!!! are you on about:confused:

I have no "greed level" at all - in fact I'm apalled by the whole MSE driven R&R scam - as you can see from my posts.

You must be employing the "if you're losing the argument, confuse the bejabbers out of everyone and depart":D

Across the board, Tesco has been instrumental in reducing the cost of goods to millions of consumers. It's a shame that abuse of a really good pro-consumer policy has been wrecked by a bunch of greedy gits
It's only a small thing but ultimately I'm sorry that Tesco has seen fit to withdraw their R&R policy. However I can see why they had to stop the greedy manipulation of a genuine benefit by a minority of grasping gits:mad:
Now, it's going to end and thanks must go to those greedy, grasping gits who have knackered this rather generous offer from Tesco and made them revise it to a standard "double the difference of the overcharge".
The result of all this is that Tesco has withdrawn a rather generous offer and the majority have been stiffed by a greedy minority:mad:

    Oh well:rolleyes:

And all since just 11.35pm yesterday, clearly all you are concerned about is what YOU might lose out on, don't fret there will be plenty of bounty out there for you, Tesco have no intention of improving the situation or clearly the policy would not be changing, they just haven't considered that dtd may well prove just as big a problem that r&r has been in identifying their willful complacency with regard to price integrity.

Stop panicking there are other ways you can benefit from the inadequacies and sharp practices of the retail sector, if you need some ideas and are so desperate just pm me and I will be glad to help.

You would do well to think about how much better off you would be if you weren't getting overcharged each time you walk through a supermarket checkout and pay attention to your till receipt and the prices of the products you select.

Haven't noticed any change to CS boards anywhere near me, could there be any truth in the rumour that it is only being trialled in certain stores. Or has it been confirmed as a whole company policy change?
