...well...immature or not..ive been overcharged twice in 2 days and with a store that has a monopoly and a population of 130 + thousand the only other store being a middle sized sainsburys then somebody has to stand up for the consumer
both r + r's were refused old policy and new
so tesco is saying s****you for standing up for yourselves...and guess what..
im saying s**** tescos ...spoken to trading standards?consumer direct/local mp and just trying to put together valued info for the local paper with a distrubution of 50 thousand...should be interesting0 -
No not for £1.34 but for a principal and it was absolutely no bother at all, in fact it was quite a relaxing excercise as my life is usually led at a far faster pace than the sedate rate at which the whole thing was conducted at.wisper wrote:You seriously went to all that bother for £1.34?

Surely the store had one or tother of the blue & white signs on the wall. If so, how could they not follow what is clearly written in blue and white?
Did you not phone HO?0 -

Of that I have no doubt nor fear. In fact dependant on future events I may even turn it into a serial, you never know I might get my own slot on made by you tv coming soon to an area near you.rombomb wrote:You'll be on video for that one I bet!
And for the crud of a Swansea manager {You know who you are} I have a long standing promise to another mser to visit you and give you your own little moment of misery, I think it may be soon you smug git. Sorry if this sounds hostile to other Tesco employee's but there is history here and this one does you no favour in the pr leagues.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

fining misprices is just a case of knowing how Tesco work, keep an eye out for the offers expiring and the stores not removing the offer SEL they are easy ones, if they say save something when you buy 2 of something it is just case of luck people buy them normally and see that the offer doesn't kick in, look for stickered items and see if they match the SEL see if there are stickered items with different stickers. 90% of the time items will scan as per the SEL so you want the ones with lower prices than the SEL.
Someone else can go in to the meat ones, they are easy to spot just find the packs with the higher £/KG than shown on the SEL.
little john reading your post you make it sound like a game - "treasure hunt" maybe - but when can we play - pin the tail on the donkey.
brought a smile to my face - thanks
on the note of the new policy - whose going to invent a calculator to give to CS when working out wrong meat prices - cos my local tesco are not looking forward to me appearing with meat at CS, so they say.
Un like some I am on good terms with my tesco CS and they are a great bunch. even the duty manager asks how much will it cost them today when he sees me at the tills. ( after he spent ages with me, pointing out nearly ever meat item was wrongly priced one day, he was amazed and angry with his staff got to admit -even offered me a job )
but cant wait till I find that DVD SEL @19.00 which scans at 44.99 (had one a couple of weeks ago ) - no other supermarket throws down a challenge like Tesco.
Ben that was priceless -quite right on your part if they couldnt get the till price correct why should you accept the goods. Thanks to everyone who posts comps :T0 -
