The Sun would definately print a story if free xbox 360s etc were mentioned;)
Point The Sun to this forum too.
Infact as R&R is basically a goner, is it time to own up to who got what, or everyone can make their own Top 10 up?0 -
I have not been in this thread for a while and have been reading about the new double the difference.
How many of you will now not use Tesco?
Although you have had good R&R's you also bought other things each week, so if now you go to a cheaper store like ASDA, and no I dont work for them will Tesco be the loser.
Yes ASDA are cheaper.0 -

"That's ok you will, but for now can we get to the matter at hand ie £1.34?"

Ben
"Why of course that's exactly what I suggested in the first place"
CS
"Yes I understand but that couldn't be done at the checkout and anyway it's perhaps better to use another till and another person just to reassure you if you know what I mean"

"Hm, that's strange, It's come up as £73.59 this time, this must be the correct total, as you can see I was very carefull to scan each item only once before placing them aside there is no way I could have scanned anything twice, perhaps the battery is low in your po or something did you think of that? I'm not doubting what you say about taking care with your selections and entries but perhaps a finger may have slipped and hit a wrong button" {Nice queue by now}
Ben
"I don't think so" I can see we cannot agree on a fair price for these goods so I think I should withdraw from the transaction, this has taken up quite a bit of my time and besides all of my frozen produce will have spoiled by now, thank you very much for your help but I think this is something you should take up with your IT or pricing department. Is there a Waitrose anywhere around here?"
CS
"No"

? Immature? I fail to see your reasoning there sorry. I think I made a clear statement, charge me the right price or stick the lot back, nothing more nothing less. Think about it one set of produce 3 different totals.tosco12 wrote:How very immature.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

Yes ASDA are cheaper.
I rarely went to Tesco before I discovered this thread. I now mostly do go to Tesco now, the thrill of the chase I suppose. Now there is no need, DoubleDiff just doesn't float my boat, and anyway I now feel a bit paranoid in Tesco stores.
So its off back to Morrisons and the occasional Asda trip for me.
Thanks Mr T for ...
1) XBOX 360 Splinter Cell x 2
2) Technika Hifi
3) Moet x 3
4) Sirloin x 5
5) Lamb Joints x 2
Crikey, thats it I think and I've been very active since about November, reading the forum, visiting a few Tescos a week.
Some of my acquaintances though got XBOX core then an XBOX Premium + PES6 pack after I told them of Mr T's generosity.
I have found pickings to have been on the very poor side of late, I thought Tesco were getting on top of the misprices, but the change of policy means no more Mr T for me.0 -
You seriously went to all that bother for £1.34?
Do you have nothing better to do with your time?ben500 wrote:beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep,
