i am probably about to get my head bit off here,,but you can't blame tesco for changing the policy, none of the other supermarket,s do r and r and we don't slag them off,if i remember sainsbury,s done this offer first and it worked both ways even if you were undercharged ,but they removed there offers quicker than tesco,
i say make hay while the policy is still in place, but it has certainly been harder in my local tesco recently with the only misprices being on the meat counters..Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Of course they could say that and no doubt would say that and a lot more spin besides. We would expect notning less from the highly paid employees who are responsible for the company line as far as press releases go!!
However they dress it up they have lost confidence in their own policy and have had to accept that the overcharging of customers is widespread and costing them (a percentage) of "loss" via the R&R policy. Obviously not as much lost as being gained by overcharges of the customers who did not realise that they had been overcharged or gained by not putting the price right when brought to their attention, but by deliberately removing the SEL and continuing to overcharge thousands of customers from that point forward, often for weeks on end.Mr. T - Stop overcharging your customers.
Bring back consumer confidence.

I would be really surprised if there is a press release over this.Who or what was I before you came in to my life

Safeway used to but quietly dropped it. I only found out when I was given the difference and upon asking was told the policy had changed.0 -
'In the unlikey event that we charge you more than the price shown on the shelf or the product..."
Oh dear. Does that mean they can screw us all they like on point of sale stands, outdoor posters, leaflets and wobblers?0 -

It used to say shelf/product before, a display stand counts as a shelf in my book, and a picture of a product on a poster, is a price on a product!Sig ah Sig Ahhh0
