But if you made the assumption, of me being small minded, ignorant etc blah blah. Maybe I'm suited to a Tosco CS job. Hang on I'm not to good at BSing.
While you're sorting the form out, could you explain the 6 day R&R coke thingy, and how this could have occured. It seemed to have slipped your mind.
Can i explain the coke thing, no, because i dont know how or why it happened. What i do know is that the automatic label change that should have been generated wasnt generated in our store and as the problem seems to have been national i can only imagine that it wasnt in other stores either.
This is my point about not knowing the price of every one of the x amount of lines in store and not being able to check them every day. No one instore is to blame for the fact that it happened and therefore calling anyone a numpty because it happens is unfair. This is why i am currently of the opinion that you are small minded, ignorant etc - you have made a judgement of people abilities without being in posession of the full facts.
As soon as WE were aware of the issue in our store it was corrected - basically after the first refund was given! If however the label stayed the same after an R&R had taken place then perhaps the quality of certain workers / processes within that store need to be examined.
Your quotes above lump all staff into one boat, that is what is offensive to the vast majority. Yep there are some bad ones but isnt that true of any company?Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!
I don't exist, it is merely your imagination.

Re multiples of R&R'd XBOX's, you would think that when a store had been hit once, that would be it, but NO, I managed to do it twice in one store, they managed to put the offending display stands out a few days after I had already got one, now that surely is down to bad management, that was asking for someone to do it again, and again, and again!!
i think they were under orders not to take it down0 -

Tesco never in their wildest nightmares envisaged the uptake on the policy would get to the levels they acheived in the last quarter, the levels reached would not have been attained without this and other such forums, the above groups only account for a relative small portion of the overall uptake, they may well have encouraged others to an extent and in that way bear an increased effect though, that I would agree to.
Let's face it Tesco's are masters at marketing this time they just happen to be the victims of it. That is of course if your deluded enough to think them victims.
Exactly.... what has changed is the number of people who are aware of the policy and are prepared to stand their ground when overcharged. It's no wonder that it has been kept quiet by CSA who try to offer the difference or argue that it doesn't apply.0 -

Definitely. I have a local store who are excellent and they are always very fair. The CSA who work there are very good, to the point that I don't feel the need to accompany them to the shelf if I've been overcharged.0 -
SPA2k, if you follow the thread back I explained, to Aussiegirl/bird can't quite remember, that if a member of Tescos did their job correctly, there is no problem.
But you know, as well as anybody else, there are some R&Rers go back day after day taking the pee filling their trollies up with the SAME items.
I've said before I don't agree with this, but call me what you want, but IMO, Tesco staff who let these customers do it, ie by leaving tickets up, flyers laying around, banners hanging up etc, day after day, well sorry, you are a numpty, these staff members are responsible for losing Tesco money. Not the R&R,Quotes in context only please.0 -
Not sure if it's been posted before so sorry if it has, but the policy is DEFINATLEY changing on Monday 19th Feb
The boards will come down ( big blue ones ) and lots of new stickers on the tills

Amen.
Lots of new faces here - His Dudeness says hello.
Looks like there's been some agro - let's be nice.
Aussiebird - lovely person, don't give her grief.
Spa2k - not quite as attractive, but a man of integirty IMHO, respect.
All I can say is that R&R was working yesterday - if there are changes - we shall see - I doubt that Tesco will get their PI together in the short-term.

Come on, really - there's no need for such unplesantness.
All your post serves to do is wind people up - why do it?
There are plenty of other ways of getting cyber-attention if that's your bag - and you do seem to crave attention with your posts.
If you can stop winding people up then please do stay.
If not - then I hope the Mods take action against you as an individual and leave the rest of us to conduct healthy debate.
