    Hello!

Hugs to Pen-Pin and DLB's family. Get well soon!

Rang the WM engineer today to tell him about the problem with ours - the 'ON' button wont stay on and it keeps on tripping the flat, so hes coming tomorrow to take a look. Am kinda worried that he'll condemn it and tell me not to use it until I get a new one...I hope he doesn't do that though because that will take ages to sort out.

Have to ring the chaps about the job interview today, to confirm I can attend - but am absolutely terrified. I'm rubbish at talking to people on the phone, I just dont know what to say and it alll comes out wrong. TBH, it is this little hurdle that has prevented me from getting a job thus far - because I would have had to ring people to enquire about them :o

Other than that, its a pretty boring day...got some ironing to do ...going to post off my uncaimed clubcard points to Tesco, and look for some more jobs

    Have a good day everyone.

Afternoon everyone. Big hugs to those who are unwell or having a bad day.

Well I'm back to work today. Getting up at 6.30am was hard!! But got tonights dinner in the sc, put on a load of washing and the dw before I left. So I felt like I'd already done half a days work before I got here.

I made soup last night and brought some in for lunch as well as a sandwich and hm flapjack. My aim is not to spend any money at all this week. I shouldn't need to go shopping other than for milk and fresh fruit/veg. Even then I still have quite a bit of frozen veg to use up.

Hopefully my dh will remember to bring the connection lead for the digital camera so I can start to put some stuff on e-bay tonight.

Ah well back to the daily grind.

    Afternoon all.

I did read the thread - but it was about 2 hours ago. Hugs to everyone.

PP - shingles. Sorry to hear that. And Chickenpox - poor mr dlb.

Took DD to playgroup this morning. She got on fine. People there seem a lot friendlier than when I used to go with DS. I do find it hard - why does it always seem that other people all know each other? And I can never think of a thing to say?

DD off for a nap now. I could join her - didn't sleep well last night. Keep trying to think of ways I could become a full time mum. Don't think it's going to happen though. Not unless I win the lottery - and since I hardly ever buy a ticket that's not really an option. Oh well. Just keep plodding on.

Take care everyone - special all you ill people

Good luck valentine - I could never work at thing out on those scan screens - apart from maybe a back bone that looked like a fish skeleton.

Blairweech - why don't you write down a short bit on what to say before you pick up the phone. It might help stop you getting hot and bothered about it?

Huggles to all the poorly people, there seem to be a lot today.

Great! After next doors alarm going off twice yesterday now there is a locksmith hammering on the door over the road :( Poor DH is never going to get any sleep and he has to work overtime tomorrow.

There are two sets in RD, the ones with the draining lids and the steamer pan - which is currently on a Web Exclusive offer at £44, it retails for £59.99 instore :D - and then there's the other set which has got a casserole pan instead of the steamer, and is £49.99.

I've got the set with the steamer. Got them about a month ago and they've been good so far - and it's a cracking price at £44 - I also found a code for free delivery :D - I think I googled "robert dyas discount codes".
