PenPen, you're right - when the clocks have gone forward I will be planning to walk both to and from work, but I can't walk home in the dark as the route takes me through some very unsalubrious parts of South London!

    Hello all!

I'm still ill today, I hope it won't hinder my job search-am doing that from home today, joyous!

Guides starts back tonight and I have no idea what we're doing! Probably some games or something... we always start the year off so well with planning but then the Spring term kinda goes to pot! Eek. We are taking the girls to the local panto so that should be a giggle at least!

Penelope, am sending you and your daughter hugs for her BP challenge :)

And PP, good luck at the hospital!

Am doing more cupboard sorting if I get some more energy.... might save the energy for Guides though and just get some washing and little general bits of housework... can't push myself into a big relapse when I'm feeling this rubbish!

    Have a good day!

    Had a good weekend

Went out for a drive, start of househunting. Did some more packing. Had some peace.

    Our son, however, spoilt it.

He was meant to be doing some jobs for us tonight and he decided without checking it was OK with us, to get some tickets for a concert and will be in late. He has started at uni and this was a pre-arranged date. If any experienced parents can give me some tips for how to deal with him, I would be grateful. He is nearly 19.

We are wanting to sell this place and get a new one.

Today will be doing more packing.
    An average day in my life:hello: :eek::mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T :o :rotfl: :rotfl: :p :eek::mad: :beer:

    Hi All,

First time posting in one of these threads, have been hanging round this forum for a few weeks now and have started joining in. Great community feel and I have been really inspired by all of the greats tips and ideas :)

I am starting the grocery challenge next month, just tracking what I spend for now. I am also hoping to start up my own little veg plot in the backgarden. Who knows I may even have a try at being a flylady but to be honest housework is what I fail at miserably! I can cook anything from anything but my carpets and windows are horrendous - just never seem to have the time. Although saying that I did give my mirrors a clean with the old vinegar and water this weekend!

Hope everyone has a good day :)
  • Morning to all.

Not much going on in the jellycat household, but that is a blessing - I sometimes feel too much goes on here!!!

Sticking to SW since Friday but feeling deprived. How can I feel deprived when so much nice food is available?

DD1 has started smoking again, she lasted 5 days then had 6 over the weekend. She has started quitting again now though. What is your new quit date DLB?

Valentine - I felt the same with all my pregnancies!!! Do not panic it will be wonderful.

Not much going on OS today. I have some w**k to do from home today but can't get motivated.

CCStar my eldest is 22 now and I always told her that we were a family and mucked in and helped each other out. That if she couldn't do that then to get her own place and at least stop being a hindrance!

To all would be quitters, I remember hearing that chewing liquorice root really helped with the cravings and also the habit of putting something in your mouth.
