    Evening all

Thank you for all the birthday messages. Had a lovely day. Got some housework done this morning, then my Nan came over at lunchtime with a couple of cardi's for DD1 for school and a small food parcel containing cheddars of the mini variety and some cartons of juice, so they've gone in the food bag to take on holiday :) Then I received a txt from Voda saying my mobile was finally back in the store and fixed so we caught the bus into town to get that plus a few other bits and pieces for the holiday. Got some bargains in Wilko's. Mickey mouse inflatable swim ring, armbands and beach ball all 75% off down to 38p each! So perfect for teh holiday. Then went into Mr T. Managed to get myself a half price birthday cake so that was only £2.50 :) couldn't make one cheaper! Also reduced bread and cookies and on offer sirloin steaks which were absolutely beautiful. DH cooked them as my nice birthday meal.

Have a fab holiday Bitsy x

Happy Birthday Elvie, hope you've also had a lovely day.

Sorry I can't remember much else, I will have to get organised and post everyday and get to know everyone better :)

Mioliere....lovely to see you posting again, glad that the house saga is almost over...take the freezer and pig and say thanks, they have had your van for a while and will feel more comfortable if they can make 'payment' in some way....I would anyway.

Hester....DS has had a brilliant idea...I once had a car that I had to start with a teaspoon and it worked fine....had forgotten that...would definitely give the screwdriver a go if DS can manage to do it, will give you some leeway at least to recover from the shock and weigh up your options...it is only to start it and as far as I know will be quite safe, don't think that DS would suggest it if not.

Night all, sleep well and stay safe.
