Not sure if you have to. How long ago did she purchase it? Did your auction state no returns? Has she left feedback yet? If she did return it you would get your fees back as long as you go through the right channels on ebay..... Hope someone comes along soon with better advice. Hmm...i think it sounds like she has just changed her mind about buying it and has told you that because she thinks you will agree to her returning it. But thats just me looking for the badness in people (too many negative life experiences methinks!). I understand why you don't want the hassle of selling it. Plus £500 is a lot of money (well it is to me anyway). If you listing said returns accepted then i think she is within her rights to return it but i'm not 100% sure. Depends if your bothered about recieving a negative feedback.Slimming World Challenge 2017 0/30.5lb

My listing says no returns accepted, i have got that much feedback so dont really want a neg, £500 is a lot to me the money is to pay for our wedding album my money is on hold in paypal though till i recieve posative feedback or 21 days will anything happen if she negs me0

Your listing said no returns, then there is nothing she can do about it. And as for leaving a neg, maybe you could get in touch with ebay and they can sometimes withdraw a neg (i think). After 21 days, as far as paypal are concerned, the buyer has the dress, and you get the money. Unless the seller send a "didn't recieve item" disputes, which i can't see happening if she has sent you the email about sending the dress back to your ebay emails.
Have you replied to her email yet? I would be tempted to say "Hi and sorry to hear about the recent breakdown in your relationship, but as stated in my auction there are to be no returns on this item, kind regards, *ebay name*. This is keeping it clear, showing a bit of sympathy and maybe, or rather hopefully, she will just accept it and leave positive or neutral feedback so you can get your money.
BTW...I hope your wedding photos are lovely!Slimming World Challenge 2017 0/30.5lb

also you can suggest to her that she lists it on ebay if she does no longer what it.0 -
Hmmm.
Very annoying.
However, if she decided to be bloody minded all she needs to do is go to Paypal and say it is not as described missing beads, dirty mark, anything at all (doeswn't need to be true it seems) and they will tell her to return it for a full refund.
Disputes count against the seller and you will possibly end up with a neg for your trouble also (and also people have been known to willfully damage items jhust to get a refund)
Gently suggesting she sells it on herself may be the way to go but you may end up with a paypal dispute on your hands. I would allow it to be returned but I can see how annoying it is.
What a pain.2 angels in heaven :A0 -
Unfortunately saying "No Returns" in your listing is not a binding condition on the buyer. Any ebay seller, business or otherwise is bound by the Distance Selling Regs. If you are a business seller you normally have to fund return postage as well.
I would politely accept the return and ask her for a cancellation - then you'll get your fees back. If she opens a dispute as not as described, you will lose - unfortunately Paypal almost always side with the buyer - then you'll not be getting your fees back either.0 -

The DSR's only apply to business sellers and not private sellers and then only to goods sold at a fixed price.0 -
do you have any eligible single friends you could introduce her to?0
