According to my website checker John Lewis had one 32gb on sale at 11:36. It sold before I could get to it.

Why would they switch the webpage back kn to sell just one unit? Seems odd (as the page has been off for quite a few days?.

    Hopes dashed again ... :(

Matchless350 - what apps are you missing? What specifically are the limitations?!

Rich44 - have you even used webOS? Also, good luck getting onto the Android Market on an unofficial device. Android tablet software currently (pre 3.0) really isn't that good.

I've just stumbled across technoworld.com who is showing 5 16gb's in stock at £205.99 delivered and 15 32gb's in stock at £256.79 delivered, the same company is currently selling the 32gb one on amazon for £280 plus £8 postage, just shows how companies are taking advantage of people.

I wouldn't say they are taking advantage of people, they are a business not a charity - there is a market for them at a higher price than 89/115 even thought alot of people know about that price and they do sell, so until people don't buy them at that price why change it!

Maybe they had more than one but it shows stock:1 on web page because you are only allowed to buy a maximum of one?

To some degree it is from a price point of view as the cheapest Ipad is £399 and most will be used to either surf the net or play games just as the Touchpad will be used for the real stumbling block is the amount of apps and the following Apple have compared to the TP.:)

I thought you could get a iPad for £329 now.
