McDonalds/Subway/Greggs - Discrimination?

@ the op. why dont you open a restaurant that services 3 course dinner from 7-11am, and breakfast from 6-11pm.
You may have spotted a gap in the market, and you would stop all this hideous discrimination as well.
Dont worry about competition from "cafes", there obviously not any in your neck of the woods.0 -
Do you actually understand what discrimination is ?
No-thought not
I thought the thread about the dozy mare who wanted £3K for a honeymoon but had no money was funny but this thread had me LOLing.
If you want individual service -go to an independent retailer-I find it a little hard to believe your town has Subway and McDonalds and Greggs but no independent cafes or bakers.
Of course the time you spent posting you could have made bacon butties for a week :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

They are a business there to make money and McDs do it very well. Vote with your feet if you are so bothered about it. They won't be!
Actually I would buy a sausage and egg McMuffin in the afternoon, were it available. It's not though. I'm not sure
If there were sufficient demand it would make business sense to have these things available all the time.
Different businesses run according to different models. You can suggest to McDonalds that they do breakfasts all day, but it's not discrimination if they decide the demand isn't there.0 -

Those were the days
it was FAR longer than 10 years ago, but I remember. Not because I ate one, but because my mum knew that I wanted one, so when i was at primary school, she and my aunt went to town to have one, then TOLD ME ABOUT IT!
I was distraught that she would go to McDs without me.
She still has the plastic cutlary they were served with, with the arches on the top.
It seems that they stopped doing them because:
A: outfitting all of the franchises with pizza ovens was really expensive.
b: people associated mcdonalds with burgers, and pizza hut with pizzas, so nobody really bought them, because if they wanted pizzas they had already gone elsewhere.0 -

Using the same logic it would discrimination that I cannot get a pizza in McDonalds! It's up to them what they sell and when.
There is a very logical business reason why they don't sell breakfast in the afternoon (in McDs anyway).
Good luck in your witch hunt :T
Not to mention the countless numbers of shift workers who use work canteens who can't get breakfast at 5pm when they start work as 6pm after sleeping all day or the thousands of servicemen for example who live in SLA & eat in the Mess......I'm sure I'dve been punched out if I insisted the slop jockey cooked me a fry for tea before I went on shift..
Simple answer to the OP's problem, make up a batch of Bacon Baps, cling wrap them, fridge them & microwave them when needed!0 -
My local Subway does breakfast subs all day
My hubby often starts work as late as 5pm, so sometimes doesn't get out of bed until 2pm if he's been on a late shift the previous night. Does that mean my local McD's should cook him a breakfast in the afternoon?
No. It means I fry him a breakfast in the afternoon if he wants one.
I also find square sausages, cheese, bacon, eggs and hash browns piled up on some fresh muffins from the bakery (with some beans or tomatoes in the side) is a lot tastier and cheaper than the Maccies version. And available 24/70 -
I asked McDonalds to make me something tasty................
