    Personally, if I were the OP, I would start a riot in my home town. it is disgraceful.

    While we are at it, my pub wont serve me a large sauvignon at 930am either.

    You want to change your pub then ;) couple round here and other towns that have them open up at 5 or 6 for an hour or two

    Nah. Surely I have a claim against my employers for discrimination as they wont let me drink at 930am when I am at work.

    Ah, but they can't dismiss you on discriminatory grounds regardless of if you've been there 2 days or 12 months. I think you should go for it.
