  • morning all :)

off to the pictures with dd2 this morning (kids am) her first visit ever, she is 3, so i'm hoping she enjoys it & doesn't get scared at the lights going out.

dd1 has instructions to try every bit of uniform on & make me a list so we can shop this afternoon for what we still need.

will be back later to finish list :)

    Morning :D

DS2's swimming lesson this morning and then DS1 should be going job hunting. I've got a whole lot of stuff to do, so here's a list for the rest of this week:

    DW
    hang washing out
ask friend if she can have DS2 tonight for a couple of hours
    binbag dance
sort out flights for DS1's trip to Dublin
    research home insurance
    set up diary/calendar
    parking fine
    mark speaking tests
    de-flea cat
forms for OH (DVLA and permitted work)
find something for DS2 to keep Disney cards in
    school to-do list
    data work
    text colleagues
    stuff to work
    toys to friend's
    make appointments for two check-ups
    new bin

I'll also carry on flying in one of my many RoDs. :o Will see which one's most tempting at the time. Have a good day, everyone. x

ETA Can anyone tell me what the going rate for a cleaner and/or minimum wage is at the moment? I'm funding a short trip to Dublin for DS1 and want him to pay me back in chores. I think the trip will benefit him, as the boys he's going with are a bit older, very sensible and will not spend the time boozing - they're even talking about taking suits and going to the theatre.

I have woken up with a really sore neck so am finding I am limited with what I can do. Luckily I did a lot yesterday and I need to be in work early anyway so I have been sorting out things that I need to do in town. I have a few hours to waste later and DH won't be home so there is no point coming back here. Just need to wash up and S & S the kitchen and bathrooms and then I am done here.

Morning all, I've woke to a sore throat and i'm still stiff..:( House badly needs sorted today so livingroom and bathroom list first, then into town, then i'll try and sort the boys room out abit but there's just no room in there and too much stuff. I need to sort all the clean clothes in the utility room too and run the hoover over every room. Then i'm taxi driver tonight so will be out of the house from 8 and don't think i'll be back until near 10. It's gonna be a long day..

School uniform still sitting on the livingroom window sil so i ned to put the names on and put it away somewhere. I really should give the bedroom another coat at some point too and if the decorator doesn't show up this week i'll just get on with it myself..

Right i better get dressed and get everyone up plus fed..:D
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
    :j :j
  • Morning all,

Just come back from visiting OH brother for 5 days - house was a tip when we left because I am completely hopeless at packing on time, and now it is even worse cos there is laundry everywhere and half emptied bags of random stuff. Have deposited tiddlers at nursery (I wisely booked today off work) and now OH just spoke to his accountant who is coming round at 11am. Arrrrrgh. Will post later to tell you all if I let him in or not! (Both OH and accountant)
Hope you are all well, too stressed to catch up with thread!!!

    xx

Sounds like a plan. There are loads of us not far from each other. Spending time sorting out direct debits etc making sure things are working out at the moment. Cuppa and some toast in a sec though.

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
