Mrs Chaos get your butt back here, too many of my favourite posters have disappeared on me. I shall stamp my feet very loudly until you return.

No real flying done yet, too many other things to do today but I have:

Taken stuff to the recycling centre
collected a top I had ordered for DS3
    paid cheque into bank
sourced under sofa storage for wii accessories
    1x WM
    small food shop

spent ages sorting out some complex tax stuff. I know that the tax office are getting it wrong but they think they are right and as it is in my favour I'll let them be right.

Need to prepare dinner next and then collect DS3 from athletics.

Seeing a friend tomorrow who I have not seen in many, many years so very excited and so is DS3. I've found a voucher for where we are going so money saving too.

Feel as if I have little or no right to be posting here just now - am struggling to do the dailies - feels as if I'm damned if I don't do any flying 'cause it doesn't seem to do itself, and damned if I do as my ankle slowly but surely swells up. Anyhow, on the basis that I have put some washing in, sorted the DW out, showed the loo some bleach, and am currently waiting for the all important flying kettle to boil, I feel moved to post for those of my inspirational flyladies who are are dealing with worse things than me just now. Cue forgetfulness.

Sammr - happy birthday - now I know it's not that bad - actually I hope it's a really good one

LW - you remind me very much of someone who is a very special person in my life - never one to say 'what can't I do' but always 'how can I do as much as I can myself' - but folks are right, no-one could ever truthfully say you were a slacker - but maybe you need to cut yourself a teensy bit of slack so you're fighting fit to deal with all that life chucks at you - not forgetting your four pawed visitors.

MrsChaos - not sure whether you're leaving FB or us as well - hope you read the posts on here to see how much folks are thinking of you. I know things aren't always easy, but hopefully you'll find enough courage to fling a few things at any lurking BDs.

Vanilla - all good wishes for you - I hope youcan keep strong. I can see how much your marriage and relationship means, and hope that for you love really will bring you all you want. I'm sure we're all rooting for you whatever happens.

JJT - had fits of giggles over your fishing expedition

OK. So, apologies to all I have forgot. Think I need more practice at the flying which might make be better at the communicating. Coffee first, then some slow hobbling.

  • panic over, found my handbag. I dont care about where my marriage cert or cheque book or passport is, but I know where my handbag is. Shows where my priorites lie :p

going to go get some dinner, give downstairs a quick once over whilst its cooking and then head up to bed. I am going to sort out my toiletries properly this evening and tidy them nicely in the bathroom and that will be be for the evening i think.

KH actually replied.. said he had told DD2 to tell me he wasnt coming when he brought her home on sunday.. She is vague at the best of times.. I said in future if he has something to tell me then do it himself because the only thing the children can be relied upon to do is be unreliable... Anyway.... he said he isnt having them until Friday so that will be 2 weeks without seeing any of them except DD2.. faulous.. last time I spoke to him in a grown up manner I said DD4 had been upset because she wanted to see him more! Nice to see he listened!

    Children decluttered to bed.. PHEW!

*slinks in quietly through the back door*

Thank you for your support! :A Not my best day today, but I think I can see light at the end of this particular tunnel. Anyway, I've decided that I'm going to fight this BD. My mum and grandma got through a lot worse and did not give up! I'm not going to let them down, but I can't do it without the support on here.

The rest of the week is going to be busy and I've got a few things to organise, so I'll be back later with a list.

Had a proud mummy moment today, too. DS2 hates water in his face and he put his whole head under water during the swimming lesson, trying to pick up an object off the floor. :T

So pleased to see you back Mrs C :D

    We're all here for you.

CBA to do anything, so I've lit the stove, cooked up some windfall apples and am busy ignoring both work and flying :p

Mrs C - please don't hide yourself away. I know everyone's coping strategy for BD is different, but please keep posting even if you post an emoticon, we'll know you are ok.

Got in at 8 from my evening job (been at day job too) am absolutely shattered, so no flying. I'm hoping to do the basics but I'm not going to stretch myself (think I'd snap).

Have to get rid of one of my frogs - must pick paint for kitchen eeek! Not sure what to do!! So will concentrate on that.

    Goodnight all x

Dusty - you made me smile. I will stamp my feet too, and when I do the whole world changes. Something to do with butterflies (:wave:Lamewolf)

My new tin of dried yeast is not workinga nd I am getting very cross. I do not want to waste the last few pounds of my grocery challenge on bread. humph

Heads up for anyone else who hasnt ordered uniform yet - 10% quidco on M&S ends at midnight.

    :hello:Hi ladies!

I have decluttered a whole day, a very large amount of money - and I now have a shiny new car in the driveway!!!:j:j:jVery excited. And exhausted. Horrible drive back, with horrendous traffic and roadworks, about four hours for 175 miles.

hex - pick up arranged at rather short notice, so unfortunately I couldn't get in touch to see if we could meet - another time I hope, if I ever get over the trauma of the journey (insert rolleyes smiley)

I promise that tomorrow I'll do some proper flying.
    :bdaycake:Happy birthday sammr!!:bdaycake:
Love and hugs, especially to lady-liberty, toots and lamewolf

You could meet somewhere between the two... Like... Erm... Newbury or basingstoke... And then hex could collect the bits of metal and kindling I've got lying around... And the two of you could fix my garden :p
