Well today is my birthday so not sure how much I'll get done today in protest that I shouldn't have to work too hard!! Nan is visiting at lunchtime so the house will be presentable enough, just hope she brings cake, save me making some as I have no vanilla extract and cake just isn't the same without it!!

Kids have been nice and thoughtful this morning so far, girls shouting and screaming at each other and DS thought it was a good idea to shove toast up his nose! I just hope he sneezed all of it out, he won't let me look so I'll have to sneak attack him later no doubt :D

  • Morning ladies, DS has gone to a church group for a couple of hours so what can I get done?

    HHC at 10.15 anyone?

I'm going to start now and keep going into it, I've plenty to do!

  • How'd you do Bonnie?

I've found my bedroom floor and the top of the cupboard :j

put away piles of clean stuff sitting on the cupboard :o
    rounded up more washing
    WM x 2
    TD x 1
started pulling out summer stuff to go up in the loft, think that I might wear cropped trousers, but unlikely to wear strappy dresses or t-shirts this year (its autumnal here, cool and very wet)
rehomed a pile of DS's clothes to his room
found a pile of neatly folded plastic bags - why? now in recycling
    bleached the loos
    emptied upstairs bins

time for a cuppa? HHC at 11.15 anyone?

  • Good morning :D

    Happy Birthday Sammr85 :bdaycake:

I worked really hard on the kitchen before we went out yesterday, but it looked like a bomb had hit it by the time i went to bed :( So back to square one :(

DW has been emptied & reloaded (thanks to DH), and dog fed.
I have a Virgin man visiting my bedroom later ;) so i think I will clear the floordrobe in there today :rotfl:i need to go into town later with DS for some school stuff - was going to go this morning, but can't get going :o and need to be back by 12 (for said Virgin man)

We had a good day yesterday at the theme park, spent loads of money again :o had lots of people round, including BIL, SIL and kids, who turned up unannounced at about 7.30 when we were about to sit and eat dinner & chill - hence the bombsite mentioned earlier (it reached the LR & DR aswell) Also decluttered £10 on a flat tyre repair that we noticed when we got back at 5.30 (luckily i live opposite a tyre shop, who shut at 6!)

OK - must crack on. I think I will try & catch up with Corrie while doing the bedroom. First - breakfast. Will updae later.
