Got it all finished, eventually. Bit of a hiccup this evening though; got started on doing dins, although I was feeling pretty darned ropey, gave Ted his medication and his food, at which point I absolutely doubled up in pain and nearly passed out, so Mr LW had to take over and finish cooking dins.:( Only bangers'n'mash, so easy to do, and bless him, he didn't seem to mind:A but I feel right ashamed of myself.:( Gonna sit in the corner and chew a slipper, I reckon.:(

Kitchen largely done. Floor still needs mopping and the oven pride has been bought but not yet administered.

I got an email from Harrods re santas grotto booking dates. Unless you spend £10,000 a year you can't book until 18 September. Pfttt! I'll get the slot on 1st November then. Seriously unimpressed.

Found my bank card so at least I have accomplished something worthwhile today!

Time for a glass of wine...

  • LW let the housework slide for a bit and look after yourself please!!!!! Your posts have been getting a bit more blah over the past couple of weeks and you havent been sounding as upbeat and cheerful as you usually do. I know you dont need to hide anything with us, but Im going to get angry with you :p if you keep doing all the lists pretty much all the time. Your health is more important than a clean house! And whats this nonsense about feeling ashamed???? dont you DARE think that way, there is nothing to be ashamed about!!!!

I have 2 coats about to fling on ebay MrsC .. 11-12 though theyll bury him wont they?

Definitely - but thanks, pigpen. He's in age 5-7 clothes, depending on the item/shop.

Hugs, LW. Hope you are feeling better now.

I've just evicted a rather larger than comfortable 8-legged useful creature. Well, it can find it's food outside our house now. Was its own fault for letting itself be spotted by me. Yuck!

DS2 and I enjoyed cuddling up on my bed and watching G-Force (no DVD player downstairs). We even had popcorn. Time for an early night, I think. I brought the bedding in as it's supposed to rain tomorrow. Might do a bit more of the bookcase, but that's it then for today.
