Have done a lot of thinking this morning and (not sure this is BD starting to hang around) closed my facebook account. The support I received on this thread has been great over the last 2 years, but I'll have a go at flying solo for a while, I think. Take good care, everyone. x

Sorry, Pigpen, I should have mentioned that the post I've linked to is a different one about how people who are short of spoons need to be kinder to themselves...

I've just evicted a rather larger than comfortable 8-legged useful creature. Well, it can find it's food outside our house now. Was its own fault for letting itself be spotted by me. Yuck!

AAARGH You're braver than me, I wouldn't have been able to catch it. In fact last week I was actually chased round the house by the biggest spider I have possibly EVER seen. I ended up being cornered, having to jump for my life and badly sprained my ankle :o

OH came home to find me in a complete state, camped out outiside the room it was last seen entering, surrounded by a selection of offensive and defensive weapons. I really am that bad.

But my traumatic experience has motivated me to go through the house cleaning and tidying thoroughly to make sure there are no more!

    Anyway, HHC at 12:15 anyone?

  • DD2 thought it was scary - but she coped well. Sha had to give them her name and then spell it and then some details about who she lives with and where - including postcode and phone number. Also her parents date of birth and where and when they got married..... She had to guess which e-mail address she's put down....... she hurridly explained she has 2 (I think she has more but hey!). She was asked if she was on the electoral roll - she didn't have a clue - but it's OH's job as head of the house to put her down....

And the final Q's were about the bloke down the road who countersigned for her - how long had we known them, what does he do etc. And them he asked her how old she thought this bloke was!!!!!!!!!!!! She guessed about her parents age!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hopefully it went OK - then we went and did a big shop at Primark - cost a fortune but we got a lot for our wonga..... and she'd coped very well so she deserved it! She'd been away with friends the week before and had brought a load of money back so it didn't quite cost as much as I thought..

See.. told you it was stupid questions.. KH was asked about his dad mostly.. his DOB, what his job was, where he was born.... the problem was he had no idea as his dad had died when KH was 5 lol... he was ok about the who lived where and the counter signer (I think he had the accountant at work sign it.. )
