  • Hello everyone

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was full of laundry and ironing grrr. However I stuck to plan and I'm hoping for a good loss this week after weeks of messing about. I weigh in on a Tuesday morning as soon as I open my eyes !

    Food Today is RED:

B - 42g All Bran and milk (HEA +HEB) remaining milk will be used to go in my coffees.

L- Chicken salad made with Pak Choi as I'm fed up of lettuce. Topped with reduced fat coleslaw (3.5 for 100g) Strawberries raspberries topped with vanilla mullerlight for pud

D - Beef casserole with carrots sprouts butternut squash gravy (2.5)

2 syns for milk at work

    S - banana orange grapes

I still have an A + B option and a couple of syns if needed later. I still haven't done any exercise really need to get moving on this. I have a skipping rope and a wii fit so no excuse really. I need to get out of my bed a little earlier i'm just so lazy! :D

I hope you get a good result at WI piglet. Good Luck!

It occurred to me that there may be a problem with doing the 'same thing week in week out'. Our consultant always advises variety in meals from week to week. I think it's partly to stop people giving up through boredom but also because ringing the changes is good for the body sort of shock to the system IYSWIM.
  • Hi all, can anybody help me with the Quorn sausages syns? I know that some are now no longer free, but don't usually have them. I've bought a pack of frozen quorn sausages...6 cumberland sausages... and can't find the syn value anywhere. All I can see on syns online is for the new "Best ever cumberland sausages" which are meant to be a 5-pack. I've used the syns calculator which is elling me they're 2syns each. Just want to double-check with anyone who knows what's what with Quorn, before I plan a meal with them. Thanks in advance

  • Little Grandma Fab poem, very motivating, I might print that out and stick it to my fridge.

Hope everyone is doing good, I am still struggling to catch up on here, its the same with my tv programmes, getting a new man can be taxing, I never get time anymore, and that includes to eat too :j
I am looking forward to my WI on wed, as I have had a few naughties over the last 7 days, saturday night I had fish in batter, chips & mushys and about 8 double vodkas and with normal coke
Back to business yesterday though, so hopefully 3 days of being a good girl will pay off, I wil let you all know. I was 1.5lb below target last week, but I would really like to keep that off, gives me something to play with.

Good to see so many newbies on here joining in the fun, keep up the good work everyone :T

Just back from weigh-in after my first week and I've lost four and a half pounds, so I'm really chuffed. If I can keep it up at least at the rate of 2lb a week then that'll be 2 stone off in time for my 40th in January!!

Hope everyone else weighing today has gone the right way!

    Jx
And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end

ANYWAY......back on the subject - I also bought a nice A5 notebook so I can start keeping a note of EVERTHING I'm eating. I'm sure I sometimes forget what I've had or 'assume' I'm getting enough superfree when actually I'm probably not :o

Oh I just did the exact same thing! bought a tiny notebook to keep in my handbag so i dont have to wrack my brains trying to remember what I ate all day when I get home after work!

have been freezing my banana during the day. Lovely. Like a banana ice lolly and last longer.

Why Put Off Until Tomorrow What You Can Do Today? :A
  • betty B. It's only the skin that goes black. you just peel it like normal and the banana inside is absolutely fine. I saw Jedward doing it on Big Brother and decided to give it a go. I put my banana in fridge about 2 in the afternoon and then eat it around 9pm. It's just right. It's not rock hard so you cannot get your teeth into it. Its firm and you can just eat it like a lolly. I love it.
