I saw Jedward doing it on Big Brother and decided to give it a go. I put my banana in fridge about 2 in the afternoon and then eat it around 9pm. It's just right. It's not rock hard so you cannot get your teeth into it. Its firm and you can just eat it like a lolly. I love it.
Ah ok cool. I read it in a celeb magazine and thought it looked good, but then when the skin went black it looked wrong! Good to know that's normal, I will try again! thanks for the advicex

I hope you get a good result at WI piglet. Good Luck!
It occurred to me that there may be a problem with doing the 'same thing week in week out'. Our consultant always advises variety in meals from week to week. I think it's partly to stop people giving up through boredom but also because ringing the changes is good for the body sort of shock to the system IYSWIM.
sorry, should explain...i just meant...i watch what i eat, exercise every day, never go over syns, and have done every week since i started,
i do vary my walking routes, so they vary in lenght, difficulty, etc, throw in a bit of the Wii, or exercise bike, etc,0 -
Morning everyone, slinks back in looking sheepish. Since my last WI I have got married and been on honeymoon and even though not checked my weight I know I am way over target! Back to work today and back firmly on the wagon - determined to get back to target asap.
Good luck to those WI today and Congrats to all the losers!0 -
Congrats on your loss Piglet. You are doing great!!
Afraid I didnt do as well as you with a 1.5 loss (still a loss) which means 6.5 loss in 2 weeks.
Everyone in class talking about 12 speed soup (or should I say Dizzyk'sdyno rod soup) and making variations of it cause people dont like this or that!
Has this soup helped with weight loss for anyone or does it just send everyone out of the room you walk into?:rotfl:0 -

thanks so much,
for me its the walking (or body magic as they like to say!)
i walk every day, and 3 / 4 times a day at the weekend or when i am not working, and i add a wee bit of exercise bike, Wii etc too
i have my syns mostly every nite, (WW Crisps, curly wurlys, foxes party rings etc) chinese every sat nite, but i have never tried the soup
i am not great at the veg, but very good with the fruit.
i have about 3.5 stone more to loose, and i want it off for next summer, :eek:0 -
Afternoon All,
Had a very up & down weekend
Friday - planned to have chinese - order my chow mein, boiled rice & chicken with teriyaki sauce which is usually in batter but i asked for no batter (which they normally honour) but it came with the batter so i said sod it and ate it anyway - along with the prawn crackers you get for free!
So Sunday comes along & in the middle of cleaning out my guinea pigs & family was round, my husband calls in tears & told me he had an electric shock & has a burn on his hand - needless to say i went rushing round to where he was & took him home, then called NHS direct who told me to take him to hospital
After several hours waiting - he was told to stay in over night for observation - as the ECG wasn't right & they were worried bout kidney problems - so i rushed home - got him clothes etc. made him some sandwiches as he hadn't eaten for 24hours & rushed back - eventually got home at midnight - then went on autopilot & tidyed everything up from when i dropped everything to take him to hospital & promptly made myself some peanut butter on toast (i had only had porridge & banana for brekkie) & went to bed
Yesterday i went to pick him up & sat around waiting for him to be discharged at about 1 - then had to drive 50+ miles to get him to burns clinic - so picked up sandwich! (egg & bacon!) Then once we had finished at about 6ish - we went to pub for dinner & i had lasagne & chips - then took him home - missed WI!
So going to WI at a different group tonight - not hoping for much!
This week will be strange - hubby can't work cos he can't drive - got to take him to burns clinic again on Friday - need to try & get organised for that!
On top of all of that i have been biten by an insect twice on leg & has ade my leg aswell & is really sore & now limp! lol
Sorry for long post - its good to get it out!
Wish me luck for WI today!
Well done & hugs to everyone x0 -
Another question please.. I know breakfast is the most important meal especially when trying to lose weight but I drink a couple of pints of water first thing and dont eat for a few hours. I do try to eat fruit first then lunch/brunch later. Would I need to eat earlier? What do you think?
I have been to class this morning. Drank water there. Came home and drank more water. At about 11.30 I ate 2 kiwi and a satsuma.
Now I am going to have egg on scan bran. Is this too long a gap?
Does anyone else not eat in the morning?0
