Heading for winter with Slimming World

I think just writing everything down helps me, it always shows up if I'm not having enough SFs!!
Funny you should say this
Today we went and did a bit of a morrisons shop (well it turned into a bigger one than planned courtesy of a new toaster, 6 bottles of comfort fab softener at half price :money:and some other things that just 'jumped into the trolley':o (new mascara, granite place mats & a lovely orchid)
ANYWAY......back on the subject - I also bought a nice A5 notebook so I can start keeping a note of EVERTHING I'm eating. I'm sure I sometimes forget what I've had or 'assume' I'm getting enough superfree when actually I'm probably not
So here goes my 1st week of 'the trial' while I'm away doggie sitting - everything that goes in my mouth.....goes in the book!;)
especially with *week looming any day :o0 -

Hi phoenixstar, people have lots of good advice on this thread so post away.
The interners been really dodgy here so not caught up with posts yet.
I've had a bad weekend SW wise - too many syns, from starch and booze mainly.
I'll be back on track tomorrow though, and I have also been pretty active.Trying to keep in budget.

I am starving!!
It is too late to eat.
I've been really good this week so far so I hope I lose something this week.
I have PMT and my (already huge) boobs are a size bigger today - everything swells for 7-10 days. Bloody hormones. I am cranky as hell and have no patience with anyone at all right now. Even crankier without carbs, crisps, biscuits, cake and sugar....!! I know I have syns but there are not enough for what I *need*.....!!
I am going on a girly weekend holiday in 12 days, I MUST lost a few lb before then so I am being good now so I can be naughty then. It WILL be worth it.0 -
**sneaking in, tail between my legs**
hello everyone, i have also been awol for a few weeks and generally off the wagon
however, i caught sight of some photos taken of me at a run yesterday and have been kicked back into action! i want to lose the 9lb i need to get to target, and then see how i feel from there.
so, today:
B: bran flakes and milk (HEa and HEb)
L: jacket potato with salad and cheese (HEa). fruit
S: shape rhubarb crumble yoghurt (0.5), apple, pear, 2 oranges
I need to go to the supermarket after work and so dinner (plus the rest of the week's meals) are open at the moment. I like the look of the pizza-topped-chicken on the SW site, think OH would be happy with that too!0 -

Oh it will blue-monkey, it will!!
My EE day plans:
B: NAS squash, HEB porage, HEA milk + teas, banana
L: pear, plate of LO veg (sort of bubble& squak)beef stir-fry with rice
Looking at that I could probably have a green day as I only use a miniscule amount of meat in the stir-fry. I'll see if I get hungry later.
Have a good day all.0 -
I'm feeling really sleepy and sluggish today, just can't get motivated.
On the food front I've had a bad start, mussed breakfast and had a ham roll (wjite with butter) at 10.30. Lunch was frued noodkes with veg, tonight should be spag bol. Going to get started on it now so it should be ready and no excuses!Trying to keep in budget.

New to the forum, but had to get back on track. Was a target in April but have slipped since, (family stress
) but saw a poem today from an old link and it inspired me to do something so here we go.
Poem wasWhen you've eaten too much and you can't write it down,
And you feel like the biggest failure in town.
When you want to give up just because you gave in,
And forget all about being healthy and thin.
So What! You went over your Syns a bit,
It's your next move that counts...So don't you quit!
It's a moment of truth, it's an attitude change.
It's learning the skills to get back in your range.
It's telling yourself, "You've done great up till now.
You can take on this challenge and beat it somehow."
It's part of your journey toward reaching your goal.
You're still gonna make it, just stay in control.
To stumble and fall is not a disgrace,
If you summon the will to get back in the race.
But, often the strugglers, when losing their grip,
Just throw in the towel and continue to slip.
And learn too late when the damage is done,
That the race wasn't over...they still could have won.
Lifestyle change can be awkward and slow,
But facing each challenge will help you grow.
Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint in a cloud of doubt.
When you're pushing to the brink, just refuse to submit,If you bite it, you write it....But don't you quit!0 -
Afternoon, been busy but on plan.
A for mik (a)

Banana
21g All bran(3), yoghurt, 2 clementines

Oh and weigh in today put on 0.6lbs, so not too bad after thursdays syn fest. No more nights out or anything in the near future so should be able to behave. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0
