Green day (as always)
HEA1: skimmed milk in tea ( I have found a bottle to hold exactly 330 ml, so a bit under allowance but that's ok)
B: 28g Bran flakes, ff vanilla yogurt and lots of beautiful raspberries.
L: Bubble and squeak and poached egg?Curry? will have to have a think.
Syns not sure yet
I have lots of cabbage to use up, so was thinking of making loads of bubble and squeak and then using my burger press to make rounds of it, freeze for breakfasts (grill on the GF). Has anyone frozen Bubble and Squeak before? I have seen packs it in the supermarket, so it must be possible.
MUST meal plan for next week.
Good luck everyone!

Using an A for milk, just having a coffee then will have weetabix and a banana before i go out.
Dinner will be sweet ans sour chicken, will write a proper meal plan later. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
lbnblbnb - Bubble & Squeak freezes well, I've done it myself after having a tonne of veggies left over.Just make sure you defrost it in the fridge overnight if you're having it for breakfast as it can go a smidge sloshy if you cook it from frozen.
Well I'm new to SW and have been reading the thread with interest
I only started on Wednesday and have been told by our consultant to stick to EE; is quite a good plan just have to get used to it after previously doing WW. Any tips you guys have would be much appreciated!
Today I'm having;
B: Strawberries & Fat free yoghurt
S: Alpen light bar (1/2 HEB)
L: Roast Lamb, new potatoes, carrots, green beans and peas with gravy (I think this will be 1-2 syns) - I cant have any of my Mum's lovely roast potatoes or yorkshire puddingSpanish Frittata - left over from yesterday with (1/2 HEA for a sprinkle of cheese approx 10-15g) and salad. Apple and fat free yoghurt
May have a mini milk - not too bad for 1 1/2 syns
Any suggestions what I can do with my left over HE?
Hope everyone has a good day0 -

We are staying away (self catering) next week, although I will be going into work each day. I need to plan 4 evening meals and easy lunches. During term time the lovely ladies in the canteen make me up a beautiful salad plate with sliced hard boiled egg and a baked potato (I don't always have the potato). They also do lovely fruit pots. But they won't be in next week so have to sort myself out! I am thinking cous cous and veg for lunch (if it is nice I don't mind repetition!) and for evening meals:
Thai curry and rice (syns for the curry paste)
Pizza (2 HEBs for the base, will make it and freeze it to take with us)
Pasta, veg and cheese
One night we will have friends staying over, so salads, veg kebabs for me and kebabs etc for them on the bbq I think.Grocery Challenge (2 adults 2 kids)

Am looking forward to dinner today - trying out a SW recipe - loin of pork roasted with a mustard, lemon and thyme glaze, and roasted veg with thyme (pots, parsnips, butternut squash, onion, leek).
xx
My friends do know about SW but I think she's trying to be sensible with food too. She's getting married in November and would love to lose a bit. Also the idea was to have something that would also suit veggies hence the couscous and ratatouille (they had halloumi kebabs instead of the meat ones we had).
Your dinner sounds great MissP, let us know how the pork recipe works out. Shame you can't have the roast potatoes Bobbins, as SW ones are yummy but if your mum is cooking for you then it's not all bad!;) One bit of advice with SW is to be absolutely sure you have your third of SFs every day on EE (more if you can). With roasts I find it really easy but for weekday meals it can be a trap to just have some peas or beans which don't count. I make sure I have plenty of fruit to snack on.
Well done on your loss fmow. A healthy BMI has to be something to celebrate but it's hard to get excited over, unlike disappearing lbs!
lbnblbnb, I've really got to enjoy bubble & squeak for a filling lunch and I'm definitely deliberately planning LO veg in my cooking. I like it with either pickled beetroot on the side and Worcestershire sauce sprinkled over or if you really want a kick mix in a bit of tabasco.
My EE day:
B: NAS squash, HEB toast, baked beans, HEA milk for teas.
L: salad sandwich, strawberrieslamb braised over leeks, parsnips, onion and carrots with roasties and cauliflower.
Snacks: fruit
Syns: usual for Sunday:o0 -

Mmmm bubble and squeak - haven't had that for years! I have a huge 'bargain' cabbage, so looking for ways to use it up.
Today I am red:
B: 28g spelt flakes and milk, nectarine and plum.
L: toasted cheese and ham sandwich, salad.Ocean pie, minus the potato topping, vegetables, grapes and melon, FF yogurt.
Snacks, fruit mainly,
I'm just on my way to my exercise group so that'll help a bit too!Trying to keep in budget.

Bubble and squeak was very, very nice. I baked it in the oven with 1 tspn of olive oil (2 syns), but would have been fine on the GF grill I think. Lots to freeze too. Thanks for the advice!

Oh guys, I did it again, and went the pub, thats 3 times in 4 days, on each occasion having at least 5 doubles, whats happening to me?? I think the white moldy fluffy cakes I ate last week have affected my brain and turned me into an alcy :rotfl:
Flat eric, my treat tea is chicken chow mein/stir fry which takes about 10 mins to made and is lovely, i prefer mine to a chipshop meal, and only has 2.5 syns in from the chow mein sauce
Well done to everyone with your recent losses, and welcome newbies
Maman I am expecting a gain this week, but same as you, am getting straight back on it, may have some icecream tonight, and be perfect from tomorrow, hoping 2 perfect days will help with my wednesday morning weigh in.
I am at the hospital Friday to have a cyst removed off my neck, its getting quite big now, so hopefully that will be a lb off :rotfl:0
