What does anyone else think of those sausages? I didn't like them much I though they had a wierd taste?
I was disappointed as I was looking forward to my sandwich!:(
Does anyone know of any other sausages I could try that would be low in syns? I've had the weight watchers pork ones but I'm not too keen on them either!
Thanks X
I use the morrisons eat smart thick pork ones (8 in a pack) they are 1/2 a syn each they are really nice & lovely on the BBQ too.....not that it looks like we're going to get any nice weather for one this weekend
Oh that reminds me, someone at class brought up the subject of 'JOES sausages last week' apparently slimming world have taken away their certificate saying they are FREEConsultant said they have changed the recipes of them all so they now have syns. Apparently there is NO butchers/shop anywhere that does syn free sausage anymore.....even if they are claiming they do.

Just popping in to log my food for today...
Breakfast - none, didn't fancy it and got up late
Lunch - pasta and sauce (free and A choice for milk), grapes
Tea - veggie fajitas using 2 small wraps (6 syns each but will count one as a HEB as its a wholemeal one, not strictly in the rules but hey ho!)
Evening - strawberries and raspberries with a small dollop of value chocoalte spread
Couldn't go on the group dog walk today due to absolutely minging weather - I dragged him out for a 30 min walk in the rain instead - we both got soaking and filthy and there were baths all round when we got home:mad: Then spent 20 mins hoovering and cleaning up wet dog mess so I'm counting that as exercise too;)
Been to Mr T's today and spent just £15 on all good fresh stuff apart from a smallish bag of crisps. Right the rugby is on in a minute so better get going - come on Ireland! (I am Welsh after all!:rotfl:)0 -
I only learned to drive when I was 32 after my dad died so I could get to my mums more easily........(It did take me 5 tests to do it though)I've always hated driving though and never got to grips with roundabouts or turning right accross the traffic particularly well
and would go miles out of my way to avoid certain routes :rotfl:good job I'm off the road at the moment with my dodgy wobbly head really
 And your our tank driver:eek: this is quite worrying dizzy :rotfl:

Oh that reminds me, someone at class brought up the subject of 'JOES sausages last week' apparently slimming world have taken away their certificate saying they are FREE
Consultant said they have changed the recipes of them all so they now have syns. Apparently there is NO butchers/shop anywhere that does syn free sausage anymore.....even if they are claiming they do.
It's not really that no butchers do syn free sausages any more. What has happened is that SW have stopped their accreditation scheme so butchers can no longer apply and get a certificate to say their sausages are syn free. Joe's Sausages have said they do not plan to change their ingredients so it is up to you whether you continue to count them as syn free.0 -

our consultant said she had been at a meeting this weekend where they said they had changed the recipe slightly since the last certificate was issued and the certificate they had was no longer valid. She said that although they would still be quite low....there are NO syn free sausage available from anywhere :think:0 -
Hi All,
I hope you don't mind me joining in on the thread. I have a lot of weight to lose and did ww a few years back and it did work but unfortunately I fell off the wagon and put it back on again. I thought I'd give SW a go this time as I like the idea of not having to weigh stuff and all the family would benefit from the healthy eating plan. I haven't done it before but I can see it will need thorough planning of what we are going to eat.
I haven't followed this plan before but I think I'll be doing the ee rather than red and green. My mum has given me the books as unfortunately my debt plan with CCCS doesn't cover going to weekly classes. I know you can get a password if you go to the classes to get online, does anyone know where I can get it without paying for the classes?0 -
