I'm getting to the stage that I'm wondering how I can attach various tools to the doglets ... thinking they could at least dust or paint or something ... they've got tails after all :p

Ohhhhh, and I sooo know what you mean - with Mr GA I seem to be tripping over boxes of damn tools or even worse ... old fixtures and stuff from work projects he's done in the past ... don't think they're ever likely to be needed again  I can see in my crystal ball ... a crafty tip run on the horizon ;):rotfl:

  • So I've cleared the first priority job, the second will be done by Thursday (I need to find Mr GA's too - need to allocate some time tomorrow after work just for this ) and the last one ... well....

Still no sign of any S*ntander replacement items  Wouldn't normally worry too much, but I need them to do other things (ie update Bank details with various sites) - so it's kinda holding me up somewhat :wall:

Boxes are coming along slowly (I do not want to see another one for a verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry long time  ..... shame most of the ones I've opened so far, are totally not ones most useful :rotfl: So, I'll be leaving those until another time :o

Pleased to have found 4 pairs of curtains suitable for the window sizes / doors and I'm changing one set a night :) Downside... none of them are suitable for the poles I found (being the rail type not the tab type) and the 1 pair of tab-tops I have also found .... are not long enough for where I had wanted to put them. They could go in the main bedroom ....hmmmm will think on that, and leave that room till last -as I'll also have to change the pole before hanging (Saturday job methinks ;))

I've managed to pick up a couple of MShops this week, first ones I've done for a long time, but payments for them will be next month.

Still working through the survey site updates I need to do, bit of a pain though as I wanted to change the payment account but can't until the replacement stuff arrives ... don't really want to pay stuff in - if I then can't get it out when I want to

Think that's it for the mo, :A

does it have to be santander?

    i really don't like them.

I have a basic account, that I have cashback, ms, etc payments go into. mind you doesn't have a debit card, just a cashcard, but there could be other banks you could get a basic account with debit card.

Like you, it will only be for survey / cashbacks / paypal / Mshop type payments :) TBH, I've not really had many problems with them, I'm kinda indifferent / neutral with them. :rotfl:

It was more a matter of just making use of something I already had Aesop  I've had both a savings & a current account with them for years (well, it was actually N&P when I originally opened them ) ... then Abbey took them over.

They've been inactive for quite a long time, as I switched all the day to day stuff to Lloyds (bad move in hindsight and also now all defunct) to make it easier at the time to shuffle money around the accounts - household bills, personal spends, savings etc.

I really just thought it would be simpler & quicker to start using something I already had, rather than the palava of new ones - and they're also not linked (owned) by the same company as my normal account (again learnt my lesson there) :(

Siiiigh, so I thought I'd start with the savings account then later reactivate the current account if needed. The savings one has an Electron visa, the other had a multi-function card (not that I want to replace that one particularly)

It's just frustrating as I want to get on with other things .... not that I'm impatient you understand :rotfl::rotfl:

Ummm just realised that was a very long answer to a short simple question :o

Just caught up WoW you have been through a lot and achieved a lot in such short time , well done on paying so much off that's amazing

I'm loving the lists aswell they really seem to keep you focussed might need to do that myself :)

I also have one of those magnet pictures in 15 pieces. They really are fantastic to keep motivation going ... I managed to put my first piece on my fridge a short while ago ... I feel like I now own 1/15th of my home ...

Welcome old friend, and thanks for dropping in .... I've cookies, cake & mulled drinks if you'd like some :p

The weekly tasks list has really been a big thing for me.... previously - I started both feet first, wanting to do "everything" and then found myself getting so overwhelmed, then demotivated by the sheer amount of things to wade through, that I came to an abrupt stop.
This way, even with the same (and more in some areas :o) amount of things that need to be sorted - I concentrate and focus my energies just on the weekly & monthly tasks ... I don't find myself drowning with everything that needs doing. :)

I was also finding it really hard going, sometimes felt so alone with it all :( ... as you said elsewhere ... it is really nice, and does help alot to have company along the way :A

Best update my progress, and finish my list for next week - ready to post up in the morning

i find that as well ... i get overwhelmed with trying to do so many things i manage exceptionally well for a while then come to a grinding halt and it takes me ages to get motivated again ... i found when i did lists in the past it seemed to help i think i should go back to that maybe:)

i think i maybe need to put some effort into real friend making ( as well as maintaing my virtual friends) not sure how to really go about it though lol

looking forward to seeing your list tomorrow ... might do one for myself we can compare :)
