OMG Well done hun!

I am always here for you but as you know sometimes just read and run. Especially if reading on phone or at work.

I was going to ask someone in my timebank volunteer group to shorten my curtains and line them with fleece for me, but just had a notification this morning, due to lack of members, they are postponing activities until jan

it costs £35 locally to shorten curtains, these are cheap nasty curtains and I would be better off buying new ones, if I could afford it.

Made the right call with being lighter handed last week as only just managed to complete everything (except the paypal bit) - I’m going to do the same this week, as I’ve got a heavier week at work (and I’m feeling a bit yak) – but after that it should settle into rhythm.

1) Paypal Verification - Started :mad: NOT COMPLETED DUE TO NO INTERNET
2) Update (again) payment info with MS & survey companies - In Progress - NOT COMPLETED DUE TO NO INTERNET
3) [STRIKE]Complete online bank registration S*tander account[/STRIKE] - DONE
Secondary Tasks
4) Furniture / items / boxes reshuffle (Lounge) DONE
5) [STRIKE]Do Shredding batch (1 bag)[/STRIKE] DONE
6) [STRIKE]Sort / Empty / relocate 3 more boxes[/STRIKE] DONE

I found out this morning, that we had post yesterday….. (don’t ask :wall: ) and it included the last stuff from the bank – so I can now finish those tasks. :T

Quite pleased with the week – I completed one MS, picked up another for next week and 1 for early Nov is also booked. Won’t get paid for these until the following month(s), so can’t include them in October’s £10 a day challenge – had hoped to hit target but not looking favourable atm … which also puts out my monthly debt buster target … hey ho … Need to find a few more to book in and get momentum going for the months ahead.;)

I did all the window curtains and have to say, it’s looking nice n snug and even the colours are a reasonable match to the rooms (they all need decorating & updating). Still need to do the doors, but as I didn’t use the discovered poles (no tabtop curtains to fit where I wanted to fix them) I haven’t been able to [STRIKE]cannibalise ,,, [/STRIKE]recycle the current rails. Need to see if dad’s hidden any in the loft or garage, if not … I’ll have to find a cheap (or free) one from somewhere.

I know hun, many are the same ... I do it too, can't be helped sometimes Even if I can't post (for whatever reason) I always click the thanks, so at least peeps know I've stopped by ... think it helps to know you're not talking to yourself or the dog :rotfl:

That's sad, wish we had something like that down here ... mind you - my problem was the need to lenthen or widen them ... shortening them I can manage :rotfl::rotfl:

BUT-:
I'm seriously annoyed with the paypal thing. :mad: Account is "Limited" until I update bank or card info ... go to do that ... only to get a message saying Account is "Restricted" and I need to change password info ... done that ... then it wants me to finish tasks in resolution centre .... try to do that (bank thing again) ... but it wont let me because I'm "Restricted" :wall::wall::wall:

How the heck am I meant to resolve an issue,,, when it's restricted me from being able to update that very info they want ? :mad::doh:
If it wasnt for the fact that I've got money (survey payment) stuck in there, and I "HAVE" to have it to sell on ebat ... I'd just not bother with it

I've given up for today, as I've not a clue how I can get it sorted - especially on a Sunday Rant over.... :cool:

I've just followed a link ... and now appear to now be signed up to Shop n Scan and awaiting clicker delivery & login confirmation ... not quite sure how I managed that one - but I'm pleased .... only been trying for like 2 years :rotfl::rotfl:

do you have another bank card you can use to confirm paypal for now? you can have more than one bank account on paypal.

you can do this until other details come through, add them and remove this card.

It's not that hun (don't think I explained it very clearly sorry) ... it wont let me change / add anything at all on the financial bit of my account ... it's asking me to do it on one hand for "security" - to resolve one issue... and then says I can't due to the limitations on the other ... it's driving me bonkers :mad: Ironicly (sp!!) it allowed me to change my password & questions ???? huh ????

PS ... did ya miss the little update saying it had now all arrived ?

can you send them an email angel? sounds like a total nightmare, i have to admit i try not to use paypal unless i have to they dont take the money out straight away then i think they have and i spend it then i have charges aaarrrrggggghhhh

jelous of the curtains , funilly enough hubby and i were talking about trying to put some curtains or something up in the loving room we have a huge window must be about 12-15 ft long and 6-7 ft high and although i have new doors etc fitted ( due to the burglary) it surely must be losing heat out of the house and my house is freezing, we can see our breath in the air all day ... and thats with the heating on ... its costing us £145 a month to heat ( along with electricity) and yet were freezing in winter ... sigh
