How about half used lipsticks?
I'm a beauty therapist and they were old shades from my kit! In my defence they were in date, and used hygeincally (ie I scraped some of the product from the top of the lippie with a spatula before applying to the client with a lip brush!). Ugh-who would buy a second hand lippie?? Sold 10 for 1.50 each!:dance:0 -
I've had some success with ebay.
I once sold four buttons off a British Rail blazer that I was issued to me when I worked for them - got a fiver for those.
I also treated myself to a silver ring with a blue stone for £20. When it arrived it was actually rhodium plated solid 18ct gold, with top quality sapphire and diamonds AND an antique! That was soon back on ebay - sold for £185.

I remember I purchased a Projector to use as a T.V, for £45 (what it was worth, pretty old) I didn't like it so I relisted it starting at 99p thinking I'd get something like £30 for it at most. To my suprise, within the last 5 minutes it touched £165 and it sold. Even though in the listing, the first thing I mentioned was it was a pretty old projector and nothing spectacular about it. The good thing about it was, it was pretty much like-new. It had the original caseing, lamps and the original box. I got cute and started browsing for cheap unused projectors and the next week found another one for £68 I won on bids and sold it the next week for £128.
Good times...
Now ebay is all about big companies, helping them by crushing out the middle man with their 15% ebay-paypal fees.0 -

You were lucky with that, it's against ebay rules to sell used cosmetics, I wouldn't risk it. A friend of mine got banned for selling a fake replica watch listed as a fake replica watch...0 -
I've sold unworn bra's, unworn tights, worn shoes, a broken Sega Mastersystem, and all the normal stuff (hat, clothes, golf clubs, lots of ornaments), and yes, its the stuff you don't expect to get much that goes for £20! and the nice stuff you let go for 99p......0

My dad bought me a snes game in the barrowlands glasgow for £5. It was a japanese game and no one had ever heard of it. Sold it on ebay 10 years later and got £40 for it! That was a year ago.. it sells for £90 now. Booo!!
I thought it was a junky game but apparently very rare and will only go up in value. Keep hold of those snes games people!2011/12: Wii & mario cart £200 lego bundle Samsung Galaxy S3, 2 nights in London with flights, £200 spending money £1000 cash! Spongebob joke teller!
