My boyfriend bought me a Tiffany necklace and bracelet set from e-bay for £80 but I wasn't keen on the necklace so I kept the bracelet and told him to re-sell the necklace I wasn't being ungreatful, just realistic). He got £105 pound for it and took me out for a lovely meal!0

Hi, I'm a "newbie", and also at work so can't spend too long reading this great thread (Only got up to about page 15), so my apologies if this has already been said.
The car tax discs that are selling on ebay, I'm a Triumph classic car enthusiast, and know people that like to buy "authentic" tax discs from the year their cars were first bought for display at car shows. You can buy reprints of them from various web sites, but I guess it's cheaper to buy one off ebay than to have one printed especially.
As already said, a brilliant thread, and one that has spurred me on to getting rid of all the tat I've got lying around the house and garage.
Cheers!0 -
Welcome to MSE Darkwheel
I have just spent the whole bank holiday weekend reading this thread (in between dashing around the house grabbing bits to sell), what a great thread, thank you OP :T
Half of my computer room is now taken up with things to sell. I put 11 items on last night, all new, make up etc, except a used epilator which I didn't think would go so put it on for 99p no reserve - it was the first thing to be bid on!

p.s. I've found that counted cross stitch kits go really well at the moment, I went through a phase of doing them a few years ago, and bought loads with the intention of doing them, sold some of them for more than I paid for them! :j

I sold a Twinings tea box for about £20. It was a nice wooden box with compartments for different tea bags. Although condition was ok, there was a scratch on the lid. The funny/ironic thing was that you could buy an identical box, brand new on the Twinings site, for just £15. I didn't tell the buyer...DMP mutual support thread member 3730

I managed to sell an old Pannini Football sticker album from 1982 which was only half filled with stickers..........got a tenner so was well happy0

My son has an old Panini album which is full of stickers, and signed by Gary Linaker and another footballer when they lived in the village. I think it was a World Cup issue from around 20 or more years ago.
It might be worth giving it a look!0 -
I'm absolutely loving this thread and have been trawling through it for the past 2 days! It's definitely inspired me to declutter and I currently have 15 items for sale, these include:
2 x Radley bags
An empty bottle of perfume with a bid on it!
A pair of my OHs used Levi jeans
Some Radley sunglasses
3 pairs of shoes/boots
A Canon digital camera with a broken LCD
A broken iPod
A dog crate
A sealed bottle of perfume I don't like anymore
An audio book
A cat bed
The Radley bags are going for £74 each at the moment and a few of the other items have bids on them so going well so far! I'm hoping to get about £3-3500 -
