Maybe worth to state some of the terms before we all go mad and sell the contents of our houses!! lol

On Saturday 1st until Sunday 9th September 2012 (local UK time), eBay.co.uk registered Private Sellers (subject to the below mentioned seller restrictions) who list up to 150 listing(s) (with a starting price of £1 or more) in an eligible category using the Auction-style format on eBay.co.uk, will not pay an Insertion Fee per listing.
Feature fees will still apply. The number of listings eligible under this promotion is limited to a maximum of 150 listings for sellers without listing restrictions or less where seller restrictions apply.
Items listed using professional tools, such as (but not limited to), Turbo Lister and Selling Manager Pro, are excluded. Items will only be eligible for this promotion if they are listed with the Quick Sell or Advanced Sell (Sell Your Item) forms or the eBay iPhone, eBay iPad, eBay Android, eBay Blackberry and eBay Windows Phone applications.
To take part in this promotion, sellers must be registered as resident in the UK.
Please refer to "What's Excluded?" for more details.

  • Tea urns even broken ones. I got over £30 twice for broken tea urns, people use them to brew with apparently. Which leads me to empty plastic kegs like the big type you buy for a party. I sold 4 all for £15+. One buyer arrived and said to me you didnt get much for it did you, I said well I got it for free lol. Think the BIN prices for those are like £20+

I sell all my toddlers old outgrown clothes if they are in good nick, i only sell clothes i would be happy to receive, but they are all good brands like Next, M and S, Gap or Monsoon.
My dirty secret is that i buy them off ebay in the first place so they are at least third hand by the time they come from me, no one ever seems disappointed and feedback is always positive (1500 of them) and everyone says my daughter is the best dressed tot in town lol.

  • I've been selling lots of old magazines. These are all related to James Bond but I'm sure others sell well too. A Radio Times with Pierce Brosnan cover for Tomorrow Never Dies recently sold for £8.00.
  • Old/Vintage knitting & sewing patterns from before 1975 - I had a collection from when I worked in a charity shop in the 90's - the unsold portion I hasten to add! Sold one today for £2.19, another for 99p - every little helps!
