Hi all Great thread
I am also an Ebay fanaticand as I am very short of money at moment listing a fair bit.
Best Ebay buy was a pair of shoes with rubbish photo for 99p resold the following week and they went for £47
Best boot-sale buy a pair of shoes and a pair of boots for £5 sold on Ebay following week for ........wait for it boots £89 and shoes £72 :j
Funniest my friend listed 11 used shower curtain rings as she had lost one. They went for £2.41+£1.50 postage !!! You can buy them for 99p !
Also at the same time she listed bathroom fittings loo roll holder etc and had a bidding war on them ! all sold to one buyer for around £60 ! And I have just looked at her listings and she is listing plastic handles from an old drawer set ! lol Of course they are on my watch list and will entertain me for the next week who needs money when you have got Ebay :T
Debt free and Mortgage free thank you to all for your encouragement and advice :j

I believe well used shoes and bras go well (only as long as the picture shows them being worn). If your well endowed even better.

I eBayed a bunch of things just after Christmas - curtains and childrens suits etc - but inspired by this thread I thought I'd list some of my [STRIKE]old junk[/STRIKE] treasures on the free listings weekend and now have sold or have bids on tons of things I didn't think I could sell, like empty perfume bottles and jewellery boxes, a "cowgirl" skirt picked up for 50p in a charity shop, worn for a hen weekend and sold for £4 +P&P and some VERY old phones (although I am good and keep all the boxes so this might help with collectors??)
I've made enough money on eBay since New Year to buy my son an iPod Touch on eBay for his birthday paid for solely from the money sitting in my Paypal account :beer:LBM:1/1/12Debts @ LBM:£43,546  Debts now: £9,486  78% PAIDFound YNAB 1/2/14 - the best thing EVER!0 -
What an awesome thread this is! And I only found it by accident after selling loads of cds/dvds/games on musicmagpie (£40 made) and wondering if a 'book' alternative existed. Well, google directed me to this thread where someone recommended Zapper and I made another £24 as well as having my eyes opened to what you can sell on ebay!
I'm not new when it comes to ebay, but I usually find it too much effort to list a lot of things, but after reading this i have sold clothes, old perfume bottles, an iphone box, an old pop-group poster, and many other things I would never have thought of before! all the little things really do add up
and to tie in with the making money thing, I have a shop on etsy and an old customer I made a few pieces for has asked me to make some more, so I am one step closer to getting out of debt than i was before I started the momentous task of reading this thread!
thanks to everyone who contributed to it and also helped me too!LBM: January 2012
