hm, not sure what to tell you as I don't know how indepth it is or who they use. It wasn't a long process when I did it; they just asked for 5 years address if I remember rightly.
On the plus side, I guess you'll know tomorrow either wayx

Will reply properly when I have time, but the credit check isn't anything to worry about, pretty much the only way you'll get refused an account is if you've done avon before and left owing money - people with ccjs, people who can't get a credit card/contract mobile get approved, the only thing that might happen is your initial credit limit could be lower but it's still usually enough for a new reps first order. After you've paid for your first order your limit gets increased each time as avon expect that over time you'll gain more customers and sell more
If you haven't already take some time to read the first post on this thread as there's lots of useful info there. It's impossible to say what campaign you'll be starting on as the whole country is staggered slightly for order & delivery dates so it completely depends on your area, that's something you'll be told by the person coming to see you. Just make sure that they don't try and squeeze you into ordering too soon (if the current campaign ends in a few days time, you can go onto the next campaign to give you more time to get some orders).Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Thanks both, find these pages a great place for getting help and advice xx0

Hubby asks about the big smile on my face the other night. Just had to tell him I was checking out avons Christmas brochure, think it could be this one http://avon.newproductshowcase.co.uk/C16/
Love Christmas and theres some really nice bits on there. Only thing I cant see and would like to have seen is a Christmas brooch. Its a bit drizzly and overcast in the south east today so I can be excused for talking winter! Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

Thank you MM.

Nooooo, there's loads of new nailwear things...best get saving some pennys to pay for them. :rotfl: Also loving the fun & festive range and I think I might have found DD's Christmas Eve pyjamas
There's some really nice stuff this year. Can't wait for the HT to arrive so I can start getting stuff! :j
I will also be ordering a few things to check the quality/size so I can inform customers before they order it. I had quite a few people who were disappointed with stuff but they kept it, last year.Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

That Brochure clearly states its Brochure 16 2012. So don't get too carried away yet.0 -
Hi wonga, mine clearly says Brochure 16 2013 on the front, not sure quite what you have been looking at! Besides which, there are also products that were not around last Christmas and are new for this year.

No its definately a new brochure, I LOVE the Mickey Mouse items in it and they are different from last years ones.
I really like the look of the magnetic nail varnish!Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T
2020 the year of less - Less debt, less waste, less spending, less stuff, less stress!0 -
I also saw C16 2012 yesterday (even though I'd seen this about a week ago on Connects - very strange!), but it's definitely changed to 2013 now.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.
I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

I have just started up with Avon and am just doing my first campaign. I canvassed the two roads I was allocated but have had almost nil response from the residents. How long would you continue to post brochures through the door before giving up on those addresses. I have found a nice customer base through social networking sites (11 so far) but need to try and increase as I know these customers will not be ordering every time but don't really know what else I can do to try and locate more customers to try and even out sales figures each campaign. Any more advice would be greatly welcomed. Im not the most outgoing of people so knocking on random doors is not exactly what i want to be doing but if this is the only way to increase a data base of customers then I guess I will just have to bite the bullet and try and increase my confidence.0
