This one has a list of the various companies you can sign up, and hopefully get some vouchers/freebiesAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Avon don't test but had to hand a selection of products over to the Chinese government for them to do their own tests on before they were allowed to sell in china - apparently the Chinese government tests on animals.Avon Sales Leader in North Kent Since July 20110

Well after we started to sort through everything in the conservatory yesterday ready to move things down from what will become winegums room, we've decided against me being a sl - not actually going to hand my notice in as such just in case, but I've been at 4 reps for a while and the thought of putting a lot of time & effort in to get another couple of good reps just seems too much after I remember how many people have wasted my time or done just one campaign. We can't justify investing any money in building a team at the moment, we've figured it's better to just try and get extra customers via Facebook etc. I enjoyed my time as sl so I would never put anyone off trying it, it was brilliant for helping us pay for our wedding and I've met some lovely people along the way - but for now its more important I take it easy and have a rest after work rather than rushing aroundAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Wise decision Lozza.
And you're only in the early/middle stages. Seen more reps on Connects recently signed up to do territory or becoming a SL with a couple of months at most left to go. It can't be a good idea to be out of service (but not knowing exactly when or for how long) at a time when you're still building trust on your territory or have training responsibilities with new reps.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Yes that's one advantage we have with having most of our customers for a while, they'll be understanding if service isn't as good as usual and I'm sure a lot would collect their orders from our house to help, certainly any new customers I gain anywhere near my due date will be warned that if things seem erratic that it isn't usual for us and hopefully they'll understandAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

What do folks reckon to the C10 brochure being 'sideways' - good, bad or couldn't care less ?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

Mil says it was nicer to look through - I found it a pain though as the order forms stick out way too much, I'm hoping they stay the usual way round! My orders seem to be on the low side as well, so it certainly hasn't encouraged people to browse and spend more than usual!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Yep I found it really confusing!! Order forms were a pain to pop in like Lozza says, it made it different though I suppose!Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T
2020 the year of less - Less debt, less waste, less spending, less stuff, less stress!0 -
Agreed order forms were a pain. But I did think that some of the pictures and the product spreads were better in landscape.Avon Sales Leader in North Kent Since July 20110

You're deffo not on your own, Lozza, I've lost 3 (soon to be 4) SLs in my downline this year - one was even ASL, who reckoned she was better off going back on Benefits....I mention to Avon at every opportunity how little SLs earn for the effort/expense needed. Works for some but not for others. Did hear a whisper that they are looking at increasing SL commission at the lower levels (maybe at the expense of the ones at the higher levels....?) or at least simplifying their current 'Mickey Mouse system' (Gail Reynolds' words, not mine albeit I agree totally!!) Hopefully Avon will adopt a more professional way to recompense their SLs so they're actually encouraged to stay....:money:
Shame for all that expertise to be lost and, personally, I think that's something Avon need to address pdq.
As ever, the knack is to make Avon fit into your life - not the other way round.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)
