    Well I have been out today to collect the 30 books I left out on Friday but only collected 11 in!!! 2 orders though but not of any great value. Hope things pick up after Christmas.

    Also, when I dropped the books off on Friday, there was someone elses books waiting to be collected. My SL says she can't do anything unless I know the other persons name. I feel a bit funny about snooping in someone elses books to see if there is anything with her name on!!

  • i would look. Its the only way to get it sorted for sure. ! I have, and the issue got resolved quickly.

    Yes unfortunately otherwise its impossible to know exactly who it is - but its the best thing for both you & this other rep so don't worry.

    Grr, after checking my invoice and seeing that nearly a £100 worth of products that I'd been waiting (that need sending back as there no use now) were coming, I thought great - however today my delivery has come with a whole box of products missing - and all of the items in there were items that were actually needed! Why did all the stuff for myself & the stuff I didn't need anymore have to arrive ok but not this other stuff! Thankfully have got in touch with all the customers affected and none of it is christmas stuff so they don't mind waiting, but still means extra trips out and my customers inconvenienced (again).

    O, MOV & HOV is going up from C4, not C5, to £80 & £150.

  • Hi, wonder if anyone can help.

    I completely missed that the last one was a 2 week campaign so missed my order date and didn't realise until a week later. If I ordered today - as an additional order from C1 (even though I didn't do a 'regular' one) when will I get the stuff? Will I get it this week or will it come on my next delivery date (which is for my regular c2 order) which is not until 03/01/13?

    I have a couple of customers who have ordered gifts - not sure of course they will be in stock but wondering if there is any chance of them coming in time.

    Can't believe I missed it and I have got in a right mess with it now! Just assumed they are all 3 weeks - they have been since I joined in March!

    Have emailed area manager last Thurs and today but nothing back :(

  • I would say probably not come in time for Xmas. They will come separate from your next order but pushing it for Xmas. They won't guarantee delivery before Xmas if you cal them .
    I have never met a calorie yet I didn't like!!
  • Update on my scenario. Delivery came, invoice said the gadget pens would follow by RM next week. Good. Rang avon to find out which items were coming with my additional order - all my oos items would be coming. Great. Till I mention the gadget pens coming next week... no, they're not coming now, discontinued - aaaargh! But my invoice says... we're very sorry but they are discontinued and not coming.

    Wish they'd make their blinking minds up!

    Ha, ha, the gadget pens arrived over a couple of days from royal mail. All my out of stocks came via the carrier on saturday. So I'm all sorted now? No:mad: - invoice correct but they've sent the wrong sized pjs and the deadline for Christmas deliveries was the day before :wall::wall::wall::wall::wall:

    PurpleJay, last date for guaranteed delivery before christmas was last friday.

    Yeh an additional delivery placed now should arrive before your usual next delivery but probably not before Christmas unfortunately. There's two 2 week campaigns a year - usually falls as one in December & one in January but it isn't always the same 2 campaigns being short for everyone.

    MM - I had the pjs on my invoice so charged for - but then a separate letter telling me they're sorry they're out of stock & they will automatically texted it me for them - how on earth they have managed to charge me in the first place when they know they're out of stock is beyond me. O and I thought I was finally getting the gold top coats I ordered as it says so on my invoice - nope again a separate letter saying they're sent an alternative. So one customer who I had told it was coming (as it said so on my invoice no mention of an alternative), has got to be let down again. If this was my first year with avon it would probably be my last after all the problems these last few campaigns. 2013 has got to be better!

    One of my customers stopped me last night and asked what happening over the mobile phone cleaner she ordered. I said they were still out of stock, and I really have no idea whats happening. She's complained that the other items she bought turn out to be expensive since she's still waiting on the mobile cleaner so I said I'd see what I could do. My invoice keeps saying "out of stock, expect with next delivery", if it doesn't turn up with my next delivery (not until January now!) I'm going to have to think of something to do for her...any suggestions? :(
    Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
    Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • What my sister and I have done with circumstances like this is offer a proportion of the money back as it sounds like it was a special offer the customer had ordered from I am assuming, i.e. something free or 3 for a tenner etc which means it is not really fair to charge the full amount.

    If it was 3 items for £10 for example, we would offer a third back, which is £3.33. I know it eats into your own profits but, that's business and in the short term it may suck but in the longer term, the customer will be happy with you and continue to order. Bang tidy, good times :D The other alternative is to offer 10% off their next order or let them choose.:T:T:T
