Yes I have a feeling it is, although having said that the tanning lotion hasn't been in for a while and yet it isn't on the discontinued list, so I'm hoping after Xmas that will be back in the books. But something rings a bell about the spray being discontinued.

Well I knocked up an additional order and added 2 items which aren't on my main delivery. Have a green light so pushed the order through and fingers crossed my backorders come out with it.

Spoke to one of my customers who's waiting for 5 gadget pens. Lovely lady but she's getting fed up and knows there's plenty of shops out there offering similar.

Bit browned off with avon at the mo! Still got to write out Christmas cards for customers and sort little Christmas pressies to go in their deliveries. Be glad when its all over!

a rep I know asked avon about 2 wks ago and they said the soft and glow products would be back around C7

I (in theory anyway), should be getting gadget pens in my next delivery in just over a weeks time, that I won't need now as I've bought them off other people. Can't understand how avon have got their stock levels so bad this year!

According to an e-mail I got from Avon the demand for A-F33 affected stock supply. It seems they put all their eggs in one basket at the expense of their wider range.

Half way through inputting my customers orders online and so far every customer order has something out of stock and in most cases more than one item/several. OMG, delivery night is going to be so much fun. Surely this can't always be the case, looking at recent posts on here it looks like its especially bad this year. I hope not.

This year does seem to be bad with the stock levels. One of my customers ordered one of the mobile phone cleaners as a freebie in C17(?) and its still showing as "to follow" and I'm expecting delivery of my C1 order on Wednesday. I've got loads missing from my delivery but almost everything is stuff either DD or myself has ordered. More annoyingly though I provided every customer with a list of the stuff I was told was out of stock, and they still ordered things on that list :mad:

Looking forward to a small break from customers over Christmas, personal order for C2 to stock up for the year and get my C4 books/forms/cardboard ringsizers, C3 will be C5 books and paperbags, stickynotes (I use them stapled to the inside of the black plastic bags to identify who it belongs to and how much they owe), and normal admin stuff but I will not be stocking up on items like I did last year. Having about £200 tied up in stock was not good for my personal finances. Meanwhile, while DD is away boxing day-new years day, I'll be getting my accounts up to date, setting up some spreadsheets and trying to get a little more organised so when a customer says "can you order me that eye cream again as I've run out/lost it" I can actually work out which product they're talking about as they usually can't remember the name or even the colour of the packaging :rotfl:

I have a little girl who has fallen in love with this and is apparently counting down the days until it is delivered. No idea how the grandmother is going to explain her way out of that one, bless.

Stock control - some have said that the shops seem to be running out of gifts as though once their stock is sold it is not replenished. Could be that in light of the current economy, retailers are reluctant to hold large quantities of Christmas gifts for fear of not selling and having to drastically reduce in the New Year. Looks like a bad decision and bad news for those that last minute buy as most will be gone by then :eek:
