Just rung SL Helpline and queried it too. Unfortunately it's the Prize Dept. that deal with the MM returns/award sales loss and they only work Monday to Friday. I have asked for someone to come back to me and let me know - as/when/if they do I'll gladly pass on what they say.
On the new automated SL tagging system, I queried that too - the £25 charge will only be applied as now i.e. when the Agreement & bank details are submitted.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

I got a response a few days ago from the same department and it was a cut-and-paste job explaining how award sales work when you return MMs. Just didn't address the problem at all.
Other reps on Connects reported similar responses or none at all.
I thought I heard "Prize" department, but someone on Connects said "Pricing" so I thought I'd mis-heard. "Prize" still makes sense though seeing as award sales help towards perks and starpoints.
My e-mail response came from uk.contact, which is the standard one even though I was told, like you, that it had gone to a department. I started a thread on Connects about it because the mods do pass things on to the relevant people in HO from time to time.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

hi! i'm new! i used to be an avon rep for 3 years but stopped when i found out i was pregnant with my 2nd child. i have just started again and i'm so excited about placing my first order!! i tried being a SL last time but i never really got fully stuck into it but i am seriously considering giving it another go this time round, just wondered if any of you have gone from rep to SL really quickly and succeeded? thanks!0

HELP ! I'm very new to this ( Forum and being an Avon Rep ) I'm not sure how to add my own post to the forum, so hope that by going for quick reply will work. My main reason is to ask for help regarding a product in brochure 16, a customer has ordered the 'Smooth Minerals Powder foundation on page 36 BIG PROBLEM ! No order code, would be very grateful if anyone of you lovely helpful people can help.0

You need to find out what shade they want - drop the book back to them and knock on the door and ask!
Take the order form so you can write the code straight onto it.

Yes fortunately we're getting the cost price of £10 per set back without a problem. It's broken down as £6 for the EDP, and £2 each for the shower gel and lotion.
The brochure price shows as £15 for the EDP alone, with the other items being £5 each. Total brochure price of £25, rather than the £15 we got awarded in the first place.
So it's just award sales that are effected. Not massively important for everyone but if you're on the verge of PC and starpoints go off award sales as well don't they? Also the Rising Stars was effected by returns.
EDIT: I'm more annoyed by the lack of response from Avon than the problem itself now. It's been reported many times already but they're not acknowledging the problem. I read that the Strictly MMs are effected in the same way. This is going to put people off doing MMs if they're wanting to get into PC or move up to Silver or Gold and every pound counts.
Just had a call from Adam on the SL Helpline :T, who says he followed up my query and the Prize Dept confirmed that - quote: "they can see how the paperwork may be confusing but no award sales are being lost". I specifically queried that the problem seemed to be with Money Makers i.e. it quotes award sales values of £15 for the EdP and £5 each for the body lotion and shower gel.
Very difficult to check obviously when you are doing high sales volumes but if anyone verifies that they have actually eroneously lost award sales I'll gladly 'take up the gauntlet'.
PS: The PC sales on our website - is that actually nett i.e. including returns, or just gross award sales orders? Anyone know?Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

I would assume it was net, otherwise you could look like you've made pc according to the website, when you might not actually have achieved it when returns are taken into account. Which could lead to some arguments if it wasn't showing the figure that they base pc on.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
