Oh my signature was just an outline of my goals and achievements... and the thread wasn't to recruit but for people who want to sign up to avon to request a sl to contact them - it doesn't say anything about asking SLs to put where they are.
Yes, fully appreciate where you are coming from and personally I think both are great ideas; was just forewarning you that your signature may disappear at some point - don't worry about it....Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Please could somebody explain the different 'types' of avon reps?
I know what a family and friends rep is (my step-daughter has got our family covered lol but I could try to sell to a few friends) and I know territory reps are assigned a territory to canvas but I've also heard the terms personal rep and trendsetter rep - what do these reps do? Are there any others?
Also, what is the presidents club? (Not sure if I've got the term right there but I'm sure you'll know what I mean!) What are the benefits and what do you have to do to join? Are there any other 'clubs' to aim to gain membership of?0 -
Hi miss_angel_star one of the Sales Leaders will be along with a better answer in a minute Im sure but in the meantime heres what I know of it!
Presidents club has different levels and to qualify you have to have achieved a certain amount of sales eg 1st level its £6500 in your first X campaigns. You get discounted books and other exclusive discounts and if you are a REALLY top seller you can get holidays and gala dinners and stuff, to be honest personally Ive never looked much into it as I know its just a pipe dream for me!!
As for different reps I think some are trendsetters as they are a brochure ahead so that Avon can see how things sell before it gets to the rest of us but don't quote me on that! As for Friends adn family and Territory reps you are dead right in your description.
Hope this helps and as I say someone with a better answer will be along in bit!Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

One of my daughter's friends is interested in becoming an Avon rep. Can I recommend her or do I have to pass her on to my upliner?
I also have a friend who lives at the opposite end of the country to me who is interested in doing Avon. Would I be able to recommend her aswell or again would I have to pass her onto my upliner?0 -
Hello,
Is it possible by any chance to change sales leaders/area managers? My area manager is awful on communication, she's replied to one email since I joined in February, despite me asking questions about poachers on my area. My sales leader was really good at the beginning, but now it's been a couple of months since I heard from her last.
I contacted Avon customer care to say about my area manager and how she hadn't been in touch, they replied to say they had emailed her and she should be in touch with me soon - that was about a month ago and she hasn't been in touch with me yet.
What to do, please?0 -
This might sound like a strange question but I'll ask it anyway lol. As an Avon Rep, what do you actually do? I'm trying to work out a schedule of tasks so I can see what needs doing and when for each campaign.
I have a 2 year old daughter but I don't have anyone to look after her apart from my husband could probably have her for a couple of hours in a morning for a couple of days a week so I'm trying to work out if I'd have enough time to be an avon rep.0 -
What being a rep involves. These are the essential tasks:
Things you do at home
- prepping books
- unprepping books and placing your orders online
- bagging up deliveries
- keeping records of who needs a brochure - best to keep a neat copy at home in a notebook/on the computer
- accounts
Reps with small children do these with their children in the house, but some say they like to get involved so it's easier to do these when they're asleep/with someone else so you can concentrate.
Things you do outside
- dropping brochures/knocking on doors
- collecting brochures
- deliveries
Some reps do these with their children. When it comes to deliveries you might find a certain time is best or one or two people can only be called on on a Monday between 1 and 3 or something like that.
When you start you're given about 100 houses to cover but over time you'll whittle that down to who's interested. To put that in perspective it takes me 3 hours to collect in 80 brochures (all spread out, not on 1 street). My sales are about £350 per campaign from 35 customers and they take 1.5 hours to bag up. Tbh out of 100 houses I'd expect to find 10-15 customers, with any 5 of them ordering in each campaign.
Or you could just cover friends and family. No canvassing involved and it'll fit in more easily with your daily routine.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Good list I,Geek!
I just do friends and family so yes it does take a lot less time but of course earnings are less too as most campaigns I just make the lower minimum order.
I only have 15 books so only takes me about 15 minutes to prep them and because we are friends/family deliveries take a while as they all ask me in for a cup of tea and a chat!
Also beware of "helpers"! my 3.5 year old little boy LOVES it on delivery day and likes to "help me", this usaually entails trying to open everything to smell it and putting it in random bags completely unrelated to who actually ordered them!:rotfl:Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T
