And breathe - second campaign in a row that Avon have managed to recharge me something I've sent back....it might only be £1.50, but I know the product has gone back so I'm not paying it
I'm guessing it'll be the same as before - now I've emailed them, they'll magically find the product that they reckon they didn't have!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
hi
i want to start avon parties for more money but my friends aren't interested and none of my customers seem to be either. Have tried advertising on gumtree and local shops but nothing - any ideas on how i can attract people for parties?
Hi everyone, great to see some new names:j (I've been away but catching up...)
One of the latest trends is actually away from 'parties' and more towards 'get togethers' i.e. a few friends over a cup of tea/coffee rather than an organised 2hr event which can cause a lot of stress.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Hi Lozza. Mistakes do happen. (Am still sorting out problems where reps have resigned and don't even know there are recharges on their a/c due to goods returns over the Christmas/New Year period..... ) As you know, if you just email Avon with the bar code no. on the returns label - provided they can trace something else in that batch - then the relevant credit should be raised. Only exception to that is if returns exceed £150 In that case Avon sometimes require a copy of the actual returns form.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

fuddle, you are so like me, I have only done one drop and pick up so far, put out 36 books and got 24 back with 1 order
although that 1 order made me feel fantastic lol
I am planning on dropping some more books tomorrow but I have a sort of estate/flats to do and am unsure of it as it is quite complicated, also I need to get more organised with this as I said to a couple of people that didn't give me a book back that I would call back tomorrow (would have been last Thursday) and realised later I wouldn't be able to as I have had a bit of a family crisis and had relatives arrive on Thursday who only left today! So I already feel like I have been unreliable!
I will knock on the doors that i didn't get a book back, but what worries me is that my road is a bit higgledy piggledy and I might knock somewhere that did give me back a book...I am usually an intelligent person, but something about walking down a road 'avoning' takes away all my common sense! things can only get better though eh :rotfl:
Don't worry; you're only human and life happens. People will appreciate your honesty if you care to 'share' with them little snippets of your life.
Use your Calling Book to keep a note of where you leave your books and when you're due to collect them, who's (not) ordered/left them out etc. etc.
Good luck!Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

There's no need to pay for loyalty cards - Avon have their own loyalty system (see HT just before the clearance goods): £10 for 5 Supercurlacious mascaras (will be a mixture of Black and Black/Brown) including 20 loyalty cards and an instruction leaflet about loyalty schemes.
Use the cards for your customers and simultaneously do a special offer "Order £10+ and buy a Supercurlacious Mascara for £3 or Order £20+ and get one FREE!" - or something like that. Win/win.... :rotfl:

I never seem to have time for FB either but it's a great tool (or so am told!) Went to a SL seminar recently where they told us the best way was to create a 'business page' to promote your Avon business rather than use your personal page and then invite your friends to 'like' your Avon page. Sounds logical i.e. to have a public/open page and sure one of these days I'll do it. :rotfl:Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Hi all, I had a look through this forum when I was thinking of signing up to avon and have now been a rep about 9 months.
I do remember reading that some reps on here had trouble with ASMs placing orders on their accounts and there was something about a team at Avon that had been set up to investigate this. Well I was wondering what the outcome was or if anyone knows what we can do about this?I have had some trouble with this myself recently and I did try to report this and I was shuffled round different departments who didnt care or take a note of it0 -

O I know, it's just annoying to have to keep emailing them, for them to find it straight away. When it's just once in a while I don't mind as they obviously get a lot of returns to process, it's the fact thatits been the second campaign in a row that it's happened thats so annoying.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
My past two returns have alos been re charged to my account, it's happened a few times now and its really annoying as i've had to ring them up 3 times about one of them!!
Does anyone know how i can get a widget/advert poster for facebook when you are on trend setter, as when i log in i get them for C07 when i am now on C09.
Thanks0
