Quick question, probably a silly one, but when we do a regular order and back order from the prev book (all at the same time) do we get commission on the items from the prev book? just thinking of looking for any creative ordering but that would obv make a difference....
Thanks if anyone can help
Yes - total order value is used to calc commission, regardless of which book it's from. Now proud Mumto3 :j0 -
I'm going to build up a customer base and then start offering Avon Parties.
Has anyone offered Avon Parties before or the Loyalty Schemes?DEBT TOTAL: £7609.440 -
I do a loyalty scheme for my customers - a free gift after 6 orders, I just keep a record at home of how many times people have ordered - my customers would probably loose a loyalty card lol.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

I might do it for recommend a friend and receive a free sample. When they hit 5 friends it'll be a free gift or something like that.
Will hopefully help build up a customer base for me. I've ordered myself the starter kit so that I can get some free samples to give out.DEBT TOTAL: £7609.440 -
Hiya, I haven't posted for a while as im coming towards the end of my degree so have been bogged down with assignments and dissertation etc - YUK!
So submitted my second campaign on tuesday night which was rubbish, im not too worried tho as I qualified for level 1 discount so I was able to cover my admin fee. Now the £15 is paid off I will look at incentives etc for customers...
Also my customers for my second campaign were dif to those in the first one which is good as its expanding my customer base, will really throw myself into it this week, this of allocating a specific time to of day to be logged into my fb - even if for half an hour but it will give me the opportunity to post adds etc as atm i sometimes forget i even have it - oops! hope your all well xxLBM AUG 2009 - Debts £20,000+ Debts now 13,582.06:j Seven Debts Paid Off :jSnowballing to pay debts - Muffin V's Catalogue [STRIKE]£1700[/STRIKE] £1480.000 -
I also do free gift if they refer a friend, and 10% off their friends first Order. With your discount it doesn't cost much, when the bubble baths are on offer they can work Out at like a £1. And of course with creative ordering you can get bits for free that you can use as gifts. I personally wouldn't recommend
Giving free samples for referring customers - its not much of an incentive, a new customer can be priceless, so good to reward your customers in kind.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Thats true. I'm just trying to think of ways I can entice them in. I don't want to pay out for the loyalty cards because it seems like I lot of money when I'm only just starting outDEBT TOTAL: £7609.440

Which is why I don't use the loyalty cards - you could just write on your message box of your order forms info about it - then keep a track of how many orders people have done on the computer, note book, or even your calling book. Means people can't add on 'extra' orders to their cards either!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

That what I was thinking. I might add a little slip in that says refer 5 friends and receive a free gift and then set up a spreadsheet. Think it would work better if the friends ordered first otherwise I won't be building up a customer base at all...DEBT TOTAL: £7609.440

I've never had a single customer who was able to refer 5 friends so I would do a free gift for EACH friend referred. Also don't forget that 1 workplace must easily be equivelent to 5 friends!
I don't use a loyalty scheme (tbh, I feel that their loyalty is mine anyway with the time I spend listening to them and keeping up with the gossip) but I do a promotion every campaign. From a freebie with a min spend of £10 or £15 to a discount on a certain item with a min spend to selection of samples (my most recent promotion).
Doesn't really affect spend with my customers but makes them feel valued and samples are always a good way to a full sized product sale. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
