It does make you wonder. I have to say I've never used this other new system, it wasn't there on the old version of the site so I've carried on doing it the same way. I encourage my reps to do it as one order to, as I was sceptical from the beginning.
Maybe to make it make it easier when packaging your orders, organise your order forms in the order you'll be delivering, then just work through the pile? I keep my orders in plastic pockets in a4 folders, each customer has their own pocket with their details on. Then I just work through in order, putting my copy of their order form in the reverse of their pocket to make it easier for returns.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Hello there i was wondering if someone could answer something for me If the lady that signed me up and needed another SL to get her commission, would i need to sign something. Just wondered as apparently i have been assigned another 450 houses or so that i knew nothing about. Just wondered if she had tried to make her numbers up and assigned them to me to pass on to my reps?
Also wish i had known about these houses before as i would have had a lovely amount of sales over xmas then!Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Yeah to become a sl you have sign things, and your website would change from the rep version to the sl, so you can't become a sl without knowing, if that's what you mean?
I'd say it could just be an over sight on their part, or even the asm, who might have allocated the extra streets to you but not made it clear to your sl so they didn't realise.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Thank you i just wondered as i think she was struggling. I have been offered some of the roads now but it would work out too many houses if i kept the lot. If that was the case i am really not sure how i was given them in the first place but never mind. She is now working out which ones to give me - hoping the closer ones but who knows
Thanks again for speedy replyMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Even if you were a sl, unless you are 'active', ie have a team of at least 5 of your own reps, it would make no difference to your upliner anyway.

You'll also pay £25 to start up as a trainee sales leader.
Ordering by customer - the facility is still there for anyone who wants to use it, but I'm wondering how much use it really will be if any customers who don't have e-mail have to be entered in one big lot under your name anyway. An alternative would be to set up free e-mail accounts to link to each customer. Either way it's not the most convenient way of doing things for reps.
I'm biased because I do it all in one lot anyway, but I'd say one big order is now the most convenient way to do your order.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Morning all , well all is quiet on my avon front. Today will be my second time collecting books in (so far all with empty order froms :-( ) so ive been using my time tring to find ways of recycling my old books!
I have put messages on some saying its an old book if they wanna see a new one n my number, I've left these in various places. Then I ran out of places lol.
So I set too making origami sample sachets out of the torn out pages, they look really cute!
I am now trying to design delivery bags out of the pages :-s to recycle the books n save me buying any.Struggling with this one! what do you all do with em??

I meant that the word "commission" implies that earnings are paid direct from Avon to you, and it's understandable that reps can be confused about where their earnings come from if that particular word is used.
If reps were being paid commission the customer would pay Avon direct and we'd receive a % of the sales.
Maybe it's different interpretations in different parts of the world. I also refer to 20/25% commission when signing up new reps but then explain that they are opening a credit line with Avon to buy goods at those discounted rates. Guess that covers all avenues! :rotfl:
Incidentally, Betterware also refer to 'commission' even though they do the same i.e. sell to their reps at discounted rates.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Woohoo I'm officially a trainee sales leader!!!
But so far I'm having a bit of trouble recruiting reps. Friends and family and even facebook dont seem to be interested, so I think its going to mean face to face recruiting!
Does anyone have any tips for recruiting new reps?
I can't wait to get some people on board, as I know what I would have wanted when I signed up and what would have made it easier for me, and am looking forward to being able to give that to someone else!
Its just a case of finding that 'someone else' now lol
Ruth
Well done, Ruth, for taking the plunge. Ask your upliner to go out with you and/or email your ASM to see if they are planning any group swooping activities near you. They should both be happy to share their tips with you (different things work better depending where you are in the country and also whether you are city/town/country-based).
Good luck.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)
