If I get a few orders by March 7th, but not the minimum order amount of £72, can I still place the order? Will I just not get my 20% discount?
Don't EVER place an order of £72! If you ordered something extra at £6 it means your order - with the extra item - will cost you £10 less!Do the maths!!

Thanks MC for the info, much appreciated although I think I will pass on your suggestion to read the other 7 threads as I dont think I would be finished it by Xmas!! :rotfl:
I picked up my first C5 books today from 1 road today (only 12) & I had put a slip in with the brochures asking if they would like a book & if so how often or if they were a no. 8 books were left outside so I put a slip through the doors of the others asking to leave them out & I would pick them up tomorrow. Only 2 had ticked no but the other 6 hadnt even looked at the brochures as the order form was still in the page that I had left them in!
Canvassing another road tomorrow so hopefully that will bring me some customers. :T0 -
I'm putting my C5 order in today and sales are down to <£250 which is almost half of my C4 total  I guess only leaving my books with my customers over the weekend instead of the normal week was a bad idea. I don't think there'll be much chance of creative ordering opportunities either, lots of "sets" being ordered this time.
Its going to be a long night trying to maximise my income on this one.
Who knows, by the time I've done returns etc for my C6 order I may end up not owing Avon anything if my C5 order is so small :rotfl:

On Avon Connects does anyone else opt in for customer leads? Ive just had an email saying someone has joined my group which is brilliant news, but I'm not really sure what to do next. Have sent a friend request as I notice I can't send a private message until she has accepted this.
What are the chances of her being quite far out of my 'normal' area?
How do customers actually attach to a rep?
Also, I wondered if anyone has any tips for staying organised with your Avon? I'm fed up of having folders and boxes on my bedroom floor lol!!!
Thanks,
Ruth0 -

Bought a concertina file for all paperwork - file it by campaign - easy to find.
2 plastic storage boxes - one for stationery, catalogues and the other for products/stock/samples etc.
Always keep a delivery box to hold stuff for credits to return next time.
Just had my delivery today so it's not so condensed while I try & get it out to everyone :rotfl:Now proud Mumto3 :j0 -

Hopefully she'll accept your request soon, but if you log into your avon account, then hover over "my orders", then click on "my customers", their *should* be some details there, at least an email address anyway so you can email them to ask for an address.
They might not be that local, they could be a few miles away from yourself so I'd ask for their address before promising a brochure in case it's not practical for you to deliver there, if it's not practical for you, I'd pass their details onto who you joined with and then they can locate a more local rep should can help. Hopefully though they'll be close enough to you
Hard to say how to be organised, after 3 years my system isn't perfect lol :rotfl:I keep a folder that has my customer details in, and their order forms go in there to keep them safe until I get my delivery. As suggested above, keep an empty avon box to put any returns in, then you can process them all in one go. I keep a box with samples, business cards, bags, stapler etc in, and a couple of boxes that has stock/free gifts in (I give a free gift with every 6 orders so I make sure I always have quite a few bits in). The conservatory (the cats bedroom lol) has most of my avon stuff in - all I can say is thank goodness for ikea, we spent a fortune on a big storage unit but at least it means all my avon stuff doesn't look too much of a mess as it's hidden away!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Well, I've only just started with Avon, and it's currently pretty full of stuff from my last business, but there's a cupboard just outside my bedroom (like an airing cupboard but without a boiler) that we've fitted lots of shelves in and a chest of drawers - that's what I'm going to use to put all my stock in.
Lozza, I like your idea of giving a free gift every 6 orders - that saves them thinking they get a free gift with every order (while still keeping their interest) and also stops you losing money on having to buy some things to give away all the time, cool.
As regards paperwork, like Mumto2 I also have a concertina folder that I intend using for putting customer order forms in to sort them into 'per campaign', then I do a lot of charts and graphs on my PC to keep me more organised (i.e. one for which houses in my street want Avon, which ones don't, which ones I haven't been able to ask yet; one for which houses have the current campaign book; a dedicated 'Avon Calendar' in Windows Calendar with my days for distributing books, collecting books, placing orders, receiving orders, delivering orders and paying Avon; etc, etc).0 -

Yeah, I tend to get stuff when it's on offer (usually things like shower gels, hand creams - everyday things) and keep a hold of anything I get for free and use that for the free gifts, so it doesn't cost a great deal but helps to keep my customers loyal & happy. It means everyone gets something for free no matter how much they spend - though my better customers do tend to get a nicer gift (not necessarily the ones that spend the most either, the ones that are the nicest to deliver to, ie they don't mess me around lol :rotfl:). I also give a free gift if they refer anyone, and a few times a year I do a free gift if they spend £10 or more.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Lozza, your free gift every 6th order, is that consecutive orders or just 6th order in general? I think its a great idea
) I have ordered Avon in the past and have never known any of the reps do this xxx

6 orders in total doesn't matter how long it takes them to get to that point. A lot of my customers wouldn't order everytime no matter how great the incentive, I'd rather reward them for ordering with us than risk them start ordering from someone at work etcAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
