I have been lurking for a while but have decided to post now im actually a rep, my SL suggested putting a sign in a local shop, I was wondering wether anyone had any ideas of what to put on the sign, I dont know where to start
BTW, these threads are amazing for us newbies, thank you all for being willing to share your tips and ideas
I'd just keep it simple, say that your an Avon rep in x town/district (depending how big your town is/how far you can travel), and to contact you for Avon brochure, with no obligation to order. Maybe mention that delivery is free, and the 90 day guarantee. I wouldn't put your home number, just a mobile, & email address.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
I'm loving the 5 for £5 offer in the back if c14...quite a few of my customers have only picked one or two items...so I've been able to get myself some bits for practically nothing
Mine as well - although some were backorder so they were ordering from C13.
I had 2 people take up the whole offer and they both bought 5 of the same product. Shows they like it I suppose - still, you would have thought people would mix it up to try new things.
And they bought Naturals products, which are usually £1/99p anyway.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

5 for £5 - C 14 pages 202-211
I've just looked at my invoice for C 14 and I ordered five products to get the above offer and Avon have only charged 3 of them at the offer price of £1 each. The other 2 have got mysteriously different order numbers on the invoice and are charged at a higher price.
Triple checked whether I'd made an error, & have now emailed avon to reimburse me the difference.
Please check your invoices on this offer."Sometimes letting things go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on.”0 -
Hi all
My 'immediate' replacements finally turned up via royal mail rather than a courier yesterday. 24 items crammed into a padded envelope - considering a lot of them were nail varnish, this wasn't really adequate  Envelope had split, and let rain water in  So although I finally have my orders to deliver just before my order goes in on tuesday, I have lots of damaged packaging. Sent a strongly worded email to Avon, but this time I told them I wanted them to provide free gifts as compensation to my customers, instead of waiting to see what they did and they have agreed to send them with my next order! Result! :T Will let you all know what turns up!!
MC you are an :A. Thank you for your help last week. I'm sorry I haven't got back to you sooner, my boys and I have all had a horrible bugStill looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -

That's very unusual! Usually if it's more than a few items it's sent in a box via courier....massive c*ck up that time I think! Glad to hear they're sending some free gifts, hopefully they're something decent that your customers like:jAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Hi all, need a little advice please. Got a customer who has ordered some fragrance costing £12 and this meant she qualified for a gift pack costing only £3. Now she wants to return the fragrances but am I right in thinking that she can keep the gift pack because she paid for it anyway?
Thanks!BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -

Always a fine line when customers want to return goods (luckily it doesn't happen often). As ever, it's your Avon business and within Avon's T&C's it's your decision as to how strict you are. Personally, I'd let the customer keep the additional goods they bought but am a softy. :rotfl: (One of my team members is very strict and insists everything is returned if they're not happy with part of an offer they purchased.)Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Yr v welcome, MM; hope you're all feeling better now.
Well done you extracting some pressies out of Avon. :T Generally, Avon are really good at helping you look after your customers; the knack is to communicate with them what sort of help you need.
For info, Avon will also help if you come across a potential new customer, who has a grievance against their ex-rep. If you email Avon with the details, my experience is that Avon will come up trumps and credit you with whatever is needed to turn that ex-customer into part of your ongoing, very loyalcustomer base. So, always keep an ear to the ground for anyone, who has been failed by their ex-rep.
