Not sure if I have just been slow on the uptake, or if this is useful for people to know
but Connects works far better on explorer than on firefox, and I was unable to upload a pic to my profile from firefox but I could from explorer!
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
someone asked further back where ive been? ive not been on here as im not wanting to do avon at all..... i thought id be remotivated once my health picked up but it hasnt and im not. lol
For the last year nearly my heart just isnt in it... ive not made pc this year yet and usually make it camp 9/10 .... im on c15! and most of the sales ive made has been my online sales.. which i dont make profit on really.... so think im actually running at a loss overall this year as i have missed so many campaigns with my customers and got alot of my profit ploughed back into stock for my online sales anyway.
weve had an ASM change and she seems much more on the ball.. just hope she doesnt remove my territory because my sales are so low compared to usual.... got the PC dinnner for last year on sept 6 so going to have a word and explain about my kidney failure and how im struggling but trying to go to customers every 6 weeks at least and hoping she keeps me on territory!!0 -

Hi J,
Really sorry to read your post; hope you're fully recovered now.
Sure my sales are down too (bit difficult to tell as I keep giving my customers away i.e. to build my team) and wouldn't think we're on our own.
Pretty sure I suggested earlier you going the SL route, which may buck you up. I concentrated on PC for my first year but then went into SLship and now much prefer the latter.
Why not give it a go?
Good luck whatever you decide.

Well as some of you know on the last thread I was starting avon and have now got all my orders in totaling over £400 which is actually above my credit limit so need to sort something there. Just wondering when you order and you define the customers and what they are ordering (been told to do this as makes it easier when delivered) if say one person orders one product from pg 6-15 and another person orders another one am I able to order the free beauty bag under my own name to give away to my highest purchasing customer or would this be against company rules?
In addition do you only get invoiced for what avon send you? So if you order something with red crosses on will you still have to pay straight away if you dont recieve it in that delivery?Me £380.00 Partner £317.48

Well done, C; don't forget your credit limit is your invoiced price so a credit limit of £300 will enable you to order £400 worth of goods at customer price. Hopefully your SL will help you ease your order through for you and they should come back to make sure you're totally happy about inputting your first order online. Meanwhile, what you describe about combining customer orders is what we call Creative Ordering :T and we allit! :rotfl: Means we reps get goods cheaper and in some cases free so it's then up to us whether to keep the benefits for ourselves or share them with our customers.
As for red crosses, that indicates that at the time of ordering the item is out of stock. You will only be invoiced for goods despatched (ideally, albeit mistakes do happen sometimes) and you have 13 days credit on everything. That should give you enough time to get your orders out, collect in your cash, pay Avon and then pay yourself.
Hope that helps.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

if you have gone over your credit limit - you'll get a call from either your SL or ASM or from Avon themselves and they'll ask for a card payment as a deposit towards the difference... either that or help you reduce your order - if you go with the latter option, tell your customers that certain items were out of stock and they'll come next time, just back order for them on the next order.Avon Sales Leader in North Kent Since July 20110

Ok thanks for your help much appreciated all the advice from everybody. Looking at it I have only gone over by £20 which I can easily put onto my card if needed. My sl quite new and I spoke to her today and she didnt point out that my order value was not my credit limit if that makes sense and said she would ring someone tomorrow to see if she could get my order limit raisedMe £380.00 Partner £317.48

your order limit will double (i think) on each subsequent order... up to a point i am sure, so for each order after that it will be higher, most people only have a credit limit problem on their first order. But it can't be moved for the first one as you are building your reputation with avon, once you have a good history of paying off and ordering regularly you'll have less problems.Avon Sales Leader in North Kent Since July 20110

Morning All,
I went out to collect my first batch of brochures yesterday first order was £47.50 which was a great start, however the rest was very low.
A lot of my regulars havent ordered this time, although I am adding to my customer base each campaign which is great.
I appreicate some people wont order every campaign, just wish I could increase my sales per customer however Im going to do a bit of a push for C15 to try and increase this.Joined Avon : 13/04/2011 C8 £168.98 C9 £270.99 C10 £237.65 C11 £227.27 C12 £299.97 C13 £298.50 C14 £308.14 C15 £347 C16 349.09 so Far0
