  • Im gearing up for a mass recanvass for C16, All houses will get a book. This is the first time ive been at been at Avon for Xmas and Im wondering how long the Christmas Gift Guide with C16 will be valid for ?

The Christmas Gift Guide is like all other brochures i.e. valid for current and back campaign. However, it's a bit of a preview of the C17 Christmas catalogue so that way you have access to Christmas goodies from C16 to C18.

If you are wanting a longer period you could ;) put your C16 gift book out with your C14/C15 books either as a 'sneek preview of what is to come' knowing that if anyone is wanting to prepare for Christmas early you can order the Demo products 'to show' them.;);) Of course, it against Avon's T&Cs to sell Demo products..... :money:

jennmark - have you put your customer count in yet?? if your customer count says 1 you will only be able to order 1 of each
item that is "1 per customer"....so you need to put at least 3 customers in your count to order 3 eye pallets :)

yep done that! thanks anyway. i will check again today, it was letting me order three of the beauty bonus bags but not three of the eye palettes. if its still not registering today i will email.
  • Congrats Judging by the help you give on here I would say your team are very lucky to have such a helpful SL

Thanks, I do tell my newbies that they're deffo not on their own; they're part of my team and I'm going to 'kill them with kindness' LOL

My own upliner does say I take far too long over my sign-ups because I give them too much information but we all do it whichever way we're comfortable with. A lot of my hints and tips I've gleened from these threads on MSE :j:beer::j plus trial /error and am always happy to help anyone, whether they're on my team or not. Works for me; but not always for others (I do get complained about. :rotfl:)

  • Only ever heard from upliner once since original sign up and I contacted her to pinch 30 Avon bags from her as I had missed them off my order and they look so much better than butty bags.

  • Thanks, CS, 'every little helps' and all that. ;)

Sorry to hear you're one of seemingly many reps, who get left to their own devices but luckily you found us here on MSE :j

Just had my newly qualified SL round for a bit of help/guidance - she's been trying to arrange to do a T2 for one of her newbies (i.e. to show them how to input their order correctly) but he's ignored her calls/texts and gone ahead on his own. She spotted 'a few' errors on his order but it's too late to do anything about it now.:( Guess that's the other side of the coin.

  • Hiya, lots of people are advising the inland revenue courses on self assessment, but when I tried to book one it wouldn't tell me dates or times and just said I would be added onto the next course and they would let me know when it was....anyone else have this problem? Seems silly as I can't book without knowing when I'm booking for!! :rotfl:

when I did it, I rang up and the person I spoke to gave me 2 dates and locations and I chose the one that was best for me, I didn't book on line.

I'm guilty of spending too long on sign ups too! lol, ASM is always telling me to talk less! hehe

I make sure i tell all my newbies "if they want territory i need to check the computer to give them free roads, but there's always plenty around, so ask before you go down any roads unconfirmed - it's only fair to make sure there isn't someone already doing it" Most do, only had one problem and that was an old rep who hadn't told anyone she was doing the road, so i had a newbie down there getting yelled at by this old rep!!! Bless her, she had her sensible head on at the time and gave me a call, but i can imagine it may have put a lot of people off!

I would much rather go in and tell them lots and them remember half of it than tell them very little and they give up because they don't know how to do anything! Generally it is paying off atm. :)
