Hi there,
Just got back from my first brochure collection and lots of people are saying that a rep from round the corner does my road, is this normal? I don't want to step on someone's toes. What should I do?
Thanks in advance,
Rach0 -

Contact your upliner/whoever signed you up and ask them to double check your officially allocated territory. Let them know the situation and ask them to sort the problem for you.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Hello,
Can someone please tell me how I can check if I got credited the money for my returns? There were so many recently I lost the track. I also tried returning a chemise which was from HT sale section. I took my chance but I don't know whether they'd send it back if they refuse to credit or not? And how to check?
Only £98 for the current campain not sure if it's worth me ordering stuff to get the order to £148 as it is such a hassle returning it and it's probably my fault as I am so messy...
Your credits will show on your next invoice. It's a good idea to keep a note of the amount on your returns note - sometimes an odd item is recharged back. (In that case, just notify Avon of the bar code on the returns label and they should rectify any recharges.)
I always recommend to my team that they keep a tight control over their own a/c as it takes Avon a little while to 'catch up' with returns. Realise this is cold comfort now but in future....
Apply for any credit re. your returns
Make a note of the nett amount you are due
Deduct the nett amount off your Account Balance
Pay the balance.
That will bring your A/c balance to zero after every campaign or if not you will have been eroneously recharged.
Hope that helps.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Places like shops, playgroup and 'odd' customers, I tend to staple dates on the front of brochures or write last order dates on. These are dead brochures as they cannot be reused if returned so am having to increase how many brochures I order. I try to keep roughly half my territory on current and half on back books but have a little more jiggling to do over the next two campaigns to fully achieve this.
I staple notes to the front of my books too; as suggested by TE, I either staple a new note in roughly the same position and/or I tippex out the dates and re-write the new ones. (Yes, am tight! :rotfl:)
I also personalise my order forms and have now decided to just cross out the dates there too if a book is returned without an order. My thoughts are that it reminds the customer that they didn't order last time - surprising how many order the next time....Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

I signed up on thueday and dropped my catalogues round last night, I decided collecting on Sunday afternoon would be my best bet as have a busy few days, but wondered afterwards if I would annoy people by turning up on a sunday, any recommendations as to best collection/delivery days?
Thanks in advance.
Just do whatever works for you, really. If you put a note on the front asking them to leave the book outside then you're covered i.e. if they don't leave outside then you'll knock and disturb them. Hardly your 'fault'.
Good luck.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Could somebody please let me have the contact details (PM me pls) of the ASM for area 344. It used to be Angela Ranby a few years back, but I'm presuming that she's either moved on or changed her contact details.
Many thanks in advance.
What's your postcode? (Easier to find it that way.) Or if you prefer not to post it up in open forum, you could use the 'contact us' link on your website to ask Avon.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Thanks a lot, have just applied to the most recent returns and also added another page in the spreadsheet - the problem is of course finding the time to regularly update the speadsheet!
Another question - just found in my stock FACE PEARLS - doesn't say on them illuminating or anything else, just face pearls and there is a gray strip on the bottom of the box. I'm trying to figure out what they are in order to return (or perhas keep if cheap enough) Any ideas? Many thanks0 -

Sorry, I've missed a lot - what spreadsheet?
Two sorts of face pearls - illuminating and bronzing. Basically, if they're silvery/pinky colour they will be the former, if darker/bronze colour they'll be the latter. Just search for 'pearls' and see what comes up as being available to return for credit.
Hope that makes sense.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Hello everyone. I have been away from here for quite a while, just plodding along, but I now seem to be having a few issues with Avon, in particular my ASM. Is it usual for an ASM to continually request details of your customers, ie names and addresses? Mine is getting quite pushy about this and even phoned last week, which is the first contact I've had from her since she signed me up over 2 years ago.
Secondly, for the second time in 9 months I have found a new rep is covering my area. I live in a village and this was asigned to me over 2 years ago. When this first happened last summer I emailed the ASM and received no reply. Fortunately the new rep decided it wasn't for her. On Saturday I found books left on doorsteps from a new rep. I phoned the lady concerned and explained (nicely!) that I already covered the village, she was very embarrassed and explained that she was told by hers and mine area rep that no one was covering this village. Since my ASM phoned only last week and asked me to confirm which village I covered this is obviously not an oversight. Is there anything I can do about this as she does not respond to my emails?0 -
Just putting on orders ready to submit my first campaign tomorrow. Only need another £11 to hit HOV, creative ordering it may be if I don't get any last minute orders tomorrow.
Im very pleased)
