Oh dear, everyone seems so stressed! I just went to the dr as I've not been well for weeks & had big flare up y'day. Naturally I bump into an avon customer who starts bleating on about her replacement leggings. Shut up.......!
Happy Xmas MC :santa2:
We need an avon lady relax room - complete with log fire, lovely massages, good wine or a cuppa tea.....:)
Best make it a large room, think it might be popular :jNow proud Mumto3 :j0 -
Yeah I am joinging in lol
I dragged my littel 3-year-old girl in the dark and cold today to get the deliveries out. She was very good, I have to say but I still felt guilty. Anyway we managed to get it done in 1 hr and we were back home after 7pm with 3 orders for current c1 as well - just managed to get to my MOV thanks to them so am grateful for this. Still another push Sunday morning as the order date is next Wed.0 -
Just tried to access brochure 18 from the link in the first post and its taking me to C5 2012 instead. lol oh well, guess I'll be using the website to check for stuff this time instead of just the links from here. Trying to get as much stuff set for returns today so that I can minimise what I need to pay to Avon this time around, every penny counts ATM.Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0

And just as I was thinking that Avon had stopped messing around with the brochure links while reps are still in the middle of using them. Personally I'm not right now, but I'll be starting to send e-brochures to a couple more customers in future.
Just posted a break-down of my Christmas stats on Connects:
Was pleasantly surprised in the end! Didn't have a clue what to expect when heading out seeing as C18 had turned out so differently to what I hoped.
Territory customers
2010 C18 - 14 out of 200 total houses - 7% C1 - 15 out of 200 total houses - 8%
2011 C18 - 29 out of 600 total houses - 5% C1 - 33 out of 600 total houses - 6%
Total territory order - to nearest pound
2010 C18 - £360 C1 - £247
2011 C18 - £433 C1 - £543
Average territory order
2010 C18 - £26 C1 - £16
2011 C18 - £15 C1 - £16
(and even looking at the 3 other network customers who ordered this year, their average orders were £16 as well).
The following are looking at all customers, not just territory:
Books given to interested people that came back with an order
2010 C1 43%
2011 C1 32%
Books given to interested people that were returned unread
2011 C1 11%
C1 was also the last-chance saloon for some customers and interested people who hadn't ordered ever or for a very long time (at least a year). 20 people were on that list and 19 didn't order so have been removed from my regular round.
Need to have a look at streets now to see which ones to hand back.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

The problem is the nail vanishes were at that price in C16, backordered in c17 I can't get them at that price and I've noticed a few weeks after I delivered them. I am in c1 now:( I know I should be chacking everything more carefully, just have no head space for everything that is going on in my life. Oh well!
A lot of the nail varnishes are £3 in C1 so just order them again and send the ones back @ £3.50 so you don't miss out. OK strictly speaking they won't be the same nail varnishes but you have the customer orders to prove what your customers were expecting to pay - just a little jiggerypokery to make sure you don't actually make a loss.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

:xmastree: Happy Christmas to you too, JF; hope you get a lovely, peaceful one where you can relax and recharge your batteries.
As for your customer, try and turn it into a positive - maybe others were listening so they now know you're an Avon lady if/as/when they want a book!
What were wrong with the leggings? Did try them once but sent them back - not quite 'me' but seeing as a customer has just ordered some @ £12 I thought I'd take advantage of the 2 for £20 offer and try the glittery ones for Christmas.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Thank you, thank you - you're a star!!!:T And I am dumb lol not only I had no idea of creative ordering before I came onto this site but also would never thought I can do it forward (returning 'unwanted' ones). I assume this cannot be done too often - does the Big Brother watch?:rotfl:
I have emailed new ASM twice asking to check my streets and with other queries - so far not even an acknowledgement, apart from a very general 1st eamil: hello, I am your new ASM blah, blah and am looking forward to meeting all of you.
I also emailed to say I have not ordered c2 books as I was planning to skim a campain but after seeing a draw for 1 year mortgage, etc. I had my regrets - I'm sure I could just push for MOV in c2 but with no books it will be difficult. I asked her to keep me in mind in case she ends up having some books left over... Oh, well, thought it was worth a try.0 -

Thanks MC. Xmas should be sweet, it always is...
The leggings were the body illusion leopard print size 18/20 & they are tiny. You'd have to be pretty slim already to shoe horn yourself into them, so she's going for another type."Sometimes letting things go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on.”0 -
Hmmm, lesson learned - check your invoices and query anything that does not look right. In regards to two nail vanishes I got the following email:
Upon checking your account, we note that an incorrect charge was applied for the products in question. To correct this, we have applied a credit of £0.75 to offset the difference.
Please accept our apologies for this error.
Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
I wouldn't have the cheek to order from c1 now and return the others from c16 lol0
