I don't give the sale books out this time of year, if people are ordering for Christmas presents they might not be that understanding when it's out of stock!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Well, did my C1 deliveries tonight - what a horrible night! Raining, thunder, wind whipping round, sooooo cold. And I fell over a kerb and grazed my knee :rotfl:
Was a little lacking in yuletide joy and happy rep mode but managed to do all but a couple.
Up til 2.30am this morning plus spent most of the morning writing cards, wrapping customer pressies and packing orders. Think my DD must be sick of 'avon' by now.
Few more C2's to pop out to my besties then thats it till pick up next week. I'm going the whole hog and doing C2 as well as C3 & C4. Will be very interesting to see the interest in C2 but expecting a few orders as many of my customers are older folks so less involved in Christmas festivities.Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

Hi, I was just wandering if there were any "good" (helpful, supportive, enthusiastic, reliable) within the West Midlands Birmingham / Sandwell area? I used to do Avon but I had no support and I found the customer service awful without the help of a decent SL. But I'd like to start again after Christmas.
If there is anyone on here that's interested in a new rep please PM me, thanks!0 -
I ended up putting out a lot of books for C2. Not as many as C18 and C1, when everyone who wanted a book got one (about 100) - I prepped about 60. I'd already bought 45 brochure 2s so decided I wanted as many of them as possible to be out. When doing deliveries I pointed out to people I'd be seeing them again before Christmas to pick the next one up, and no-one said they didn't want it. Will be putting non-customer books out tomorrow.
I also had my first delivery EVER when every single person was in. :eek: Out of nearly 40! The weather was horrible so I understand why people were choosing to stay in - other than to get their order, of course.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Hi RB,
Sure every decent SL would be interested in having you - the knack is to find one you 'gel' with. I started a thread a while ago https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2675375 which may be helpful to you. See there hasn't been a lot of activity on there for a while now but worth a shot.
Have PMd you and as mentioned, it may be that you're in a Trendsetter MailPlan so much as I would love to expand my team into your part of the country, it would be in your own best interests to find a good upliner in the same T/S MailPlan area. If you PM me back with your postcode (or even post on here) I'll gladly check that out for you.

Appreciate this is only of interest to certain people but thought I'd pass the word - according to Avon:
* Small Charge Order will be waived in C2 & 3 (C4 & 5 for T/S)
* Reinstatement Fee waived in C3 (C5 for T/S)
* There are two WOW packs (£10 & £25) on offer to reps, who are not intending to place an order in any of the quickie campaigns
* Manic Monday offers will be back in January (first one being on a Tuesday! :rotfl:)
* Bill Buster competition for every active rep C1-3 plus if place C4 order over MOV you'll be entered into a draw to have your rent/mortgage paid for a year.
This is, obviously, Avon's way to encourage all reps to place an order C1-4 rather than miss a campaign. They're definitely trying hard - think twice before you decide NOT to place an order, however small.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

T/setter Reps don't have separate mailplans, it is purely their area numbers that determine it.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

It's a special offer pack that ASMs/SLs can offer their team members to 'encourage'them to order. For some team leaders it can be very important to make sure their reps actually place an order i.e. SLs need 5 active reps to place an order to help them qualify for their SL commission; to others with bigger teams it's not that important.

Thanks, yes, was a slip in terminology but essentially what I was trying to convey still stands: any new rep in a T/S area is better off signing up to a T/S team rather than an out-of-area one.... least that's my view - do you agree?Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)
