Similarly, it also quotes Herve Leger Ete EdP Spray Samples @ 20p (as opposed to the vials) - anyone know what they are?
Think the AT samples were only singles. Saw the spray samples too but concluded it's a bit of a misprint and they are just single vials. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

Very quiet round here lately! Hope everyones busy getting lots of orders in time for Christmas!
After being ill I though C18 was going to be poor but it's turned out to be my best ever! So really pleased!
My order got delivered and I was very disappointed with the red gift bags that came, they were marked and creased unsuprisingly as they had no protection round them (like the other xmas ones had plastic) and were placed in the middle of a box full of bottles etc. I would be embarrassed to pass them on to customers, even as a free gift, as I wouldn't use one myself! So if they are watching us missminx, then maybe they could change those for next time! haha!
Best get back to handwriting all my cards to say C1 is the last chance to order in time for xmas and the delivery date....my printer has died on me so I am reverting to old fashioned ways!! :rotfl:0 -
I have been having a nightmare with orders being packed incorrectly and items missing and being wrongly charged for things etc etc so....
I just wondered, do you take a campaign off anyone? and when do you do it? Is there a better time of year to do it or just fit it in when you need to?
What happens when you don't place an order for a campaign? Should you let your sales leader know? ThanksBSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -
Tonight I've put my C1 books out, they were meant to go out on Thursday night but my printer was playing up so I was going to put them out Friday but we got the winter vomitting bug _pale_ DD went back to school yesterday so I finally managed to get caught up put the books out today with an apology slip. My order goes in next Thursday so I'm going to be collecting them on Monday instead of tomorrow and playing catch up
I've decided to "skip" C2 with customers as the order is due in on the 22nd December, and the delivery isn't until after New Year (I've put a note in with my C1 books saying next book will be put through the 3rd or 4th of Jan) and instead my C2 order will consist of books, stationary (I give everyone a pen with their book, this has ended the illegible pencil scrawled orders I was getting :rotfl:) bags, and some stock. I plan on using the time to sort out my accounts etc and put my tax return through
I'll be putting C2 books out in January (using as back orders) then I'm going to jump straight to C4 and then put C3 books out over my territory I haven't covered yet. I don't think C3 will be that popular with my current customers. Does that make sense? :rotfl:
Yes I know I should cover all my territory, but I've been covering about half of it so far, I'm going to make a concerted effort to cover the entire territory in the first couple of campaigns after New Year. Just the thought of having to order 432 books to canvas every house has put me off but I'm going to do it now I'm down to 30-40 customers out of 205 houses:eek: Its going to be interesting going! I'll just keep thinking of the exercise :rotfl:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

More to the point, I think the cost of these travel bottles is astronomical - they seem to cost more than the contents! I still have some senses shower gel sachets that they used to do as samples. Believe it was about 25p (?) or so for 5 little sachets, how I wish they still did them. Ideal to give out as freebies and great for holidays/short breaks (cub/scout camps, school trips away etc etc). Shame they changed the name of the fragrances.
Got a little nervous about a customer I need to fulfill an order for so did an additional order last night for C18. My C1 needs to go in on monday so may add the items to that too - just to make sure
Fingers crossed that everything for everybody arrives, I do so hate letting customers down.
You can get a set of travel bottles from Primark for £1!!Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
Hello, work, PhD and everything has kept me so busy I went quiet for a while.
Just put in my 3rd order over £173 so so far managed to stay over HVO each campain which is possitive.
Not sure if I did the right thing, it was my c18 order date today and I have c1 just before Xmas with delivery date as 20th December. I only ordered c3 books as I am planning to skip c2. I get most of my customers from my workplace - university and my DD's nursery - both closed until 4th January. Plus I am really tired and need a bit of a break.
The AM who was least to say not that great has given up, I have never received free parfumes she promised us for our 1st order if it was over HVO (which was the case for me), I emailed Avon but they ignored me. So annoying... Anyway, have a new AM, Polish I believe but apart from a general hello email nothing yet from her either. So nice to hear some of you get such a good support.
Also had several items out of stock last time and now customers cancelled these :-(
As for canvassing the teritory, I really can't afford to buy so many books atm. I think 1 in 3 houses is totally, totally unrealistic. I have covered over 250 houses and have 10 customers!!! And they don't even order every campain. Honestly if it wasn;t for uni, nursery and friends I'd go under.
Anyway, I still have a couple of streets to canvas so was thinking of just delivering leaflets with a message that I am a rep and if they want a brochure or speak to me they can call or email. My books return percentage is absolutely awful, my frist two campains I gave away 60 and 80 books and got back less than 20 and 30. I wish new AM would give me more books but I doubt it'd happen...
Does anybody do flyers? And if so, what do you put on them?
Many thanks0 -

Well done reaching HOV. Rather than ordering/losing loads of books, why not adopt the method of 'knocking and asking' rather than 'stuffing and running'? Yes, it takes longer initially but at least you know that every time you drop a book off, it's actually wanted....:)
Another option would be to separate the clearance books from the main brochures to give you twice as many and put a note with them to contact you if they'd like to see a main brochure.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

To anyone thinking of missing a campaign over the Christmas period, be aware that it will preclude you from the Bill Buster competition - OK long shot that you'll win but you never know.....
And, MOV is reduced to £52 from C1-4 so pretty easy just to cherry pick a few of your best customers to reach MOV so you qualify.Had a quick glance @ C2 and the bargains seem to be liquid soaps £1, room/linen sprays 99p and the perfumed body sprays @ £3.60 for 3 (i.e. buy 1 get 2 free):money:

I never take a campaign off. But I would give catalogues only to regular orderers to minimise time chasing catalogues."Sometimes letting things go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on.”0
